It is simple for me. If Geelong lose there is no way they will equal our threepeat, Go Hawks!
Me too. Tipping a lot of Lions fans will feel this way.

As I will be at a wedding next Saturday afternoon I hope the GF is as crap as last year.
As I said I'm selfish like that
I think the people having the wedding on GF day are more selfish.
There are two days you do not have a wedding - GF day and Melbourne Cup Day.
As for Melb Cup day.. it's what.. a 5 minute pause? Horse racings about as entertaining as licking dry ice over a day.
I hope for a mate the Cats get up but unlike last year if they don't I certainly wont lose any sleep over it.
If youre from Melbourne, which you are not, that 5 minute pause is only from what you've been doing most of the day - which is eating, drinking and punting.
Plenty of people already aired my thinking on the matter... Hawthorn, since you can't get three if you don't get two.

Booo.... hiss!!!
Ok...what's the deal with so many people barracking for Hawthorn 'cause they are shit-scared of Geelong (maybe) emulating our 3-peat.???
If Geelong, or any other team in the future win 2, 3, 4 or 8 in a row, good on them.....can't see how that diminishes the feats of our champion Lions 2001-03 in any way
FFS,Don't let paranoia get in the way of enjoying what is shaping as a really good GF.
If it is who I am thinking of, he's just a closeted Lions supporter anyway.
Unlucky. How would you feel if it was Brisbane playing off in the grannie? They don't care about AFL

because if Geelong win this week there will be no stopping them matching and even surpassing our magnificent effort and all of a sudden we are the forgotten feat.
See, I think this rationale is just silly.
Why do any Lions supporters have to feel insecure or threatened just because another club might get close to our "record"
They haven't won 2 in a row yet.
And so if the Hawks win it, are we then then going to spend all next season fretting about the possibility that they might do a double and then maybe a treble.?
I just don't get it.
