The Bulldogs and Umpires: Time for a Royal Commission?

Cats weren't much better against us. Plenty of flick passes.
94 point difference?

I can understand the quick ones being missed by Libba's, Treloar's and Keath's are so obvious that every umpire should be calling them

The umpiring got so bad that even the comms were commenting on it.

You're a week early on the excuses.

Every single team throws the ball each game.

This isn't something you've just stumbled upon

Ah the old 'everyone does it so it's ok'.

There's 3 in there that are totally obscured that he is guessing are throws. Remember than you can throw the ball with the ball hand, but as long as your off hand fist makes a strike with the ball before it leaves the palm, it's a handball. If you think they should be throws, which most people would, you need to take it up with the laws of the game.

Just the dogs ... waaaaah

Weird. Where did I say it was just the Dogs? I literally cited the Cats as a team that does it too.

You don't think it's ironic you're here in a bulldogs thread having a go at the dogs for throwing when your own team is shown in a small clip throwing it 4 times?

Guess it doesn't matter when it's your own team huh

I had a go at the Cats for throwing. I had a go at you for saying it's ok because everyone does it.

Ah yes, the "royal commission.

The dogs have been secretly paying the AFL and the umpires under the table ... to sit down the bottom of the free kick differential table.

Trust a Sydney supporter to be a brainless nuffy

I said the page not the thread. Not sure I'm the nuffy here bud.

The point was someone said that the Dogs threw a lot so I replied saying another side also threw a lot this round. You then said lots of teams do it, to which I suggested that doesn't make it ok, to which you had a bit of a meltdown.

The point is you cannot have a go at any other side when your own side does the same thing.

The AFL probably doesn't care because they seem hell bent on moving the game on at speed.

Move on

We should be pinged if we do it. Just like your side and just like the Cats. We were pinged numerous times on Saturday night, the Cats weren't, which was my original premise. Is that ok with you?

Finally someone in the media calling them out for their bull s**t instead of calling them "little flicks".

So many kids watching these games and imitating their favourite players. The handball will be dead in 5 to 10 years and it will be luke beveridge and the bulldogs to blame.
So you’re saying no other teams do it? 🤔

The dogs have been doing it for years and do it far more than most. Half of libba's disposals would be throws - He is a dirty cheat just like his old man.

A lot of players throw when they have no other option eg the hand is pinned. Dogs just throw it at will to get the ball away quicker when they are clearly capable of handballing (eg not even being tackled). There's a very clear difference between prolific throwing / cheating and the occasional throw when your arms pinned.
