If he had any integrity, he would be the first one through the AFL doors tomorrow handing it back
If he had integrity he would never have been injected. If he had integrity after getting the most votes on brownlow night he would have been too embarrassed to accept it and admitted his guilt. If he had integrity he would have admitted his guilt when the allegations started. If he had integrity he wouldn't have been part of a court case to block interviews being used as evidence. If he If he had integrity he would have pled guilty to charges. If he had integrity when found guilty he would have handed it back and accepted punishment. If he had integrity he wouldn't have appealed again. It's been a few hours since the last resort has failed and he is not on his way to turn it over and has not posted so much as a tweet apologising fir cheating and saying he will hand it back.

The guy doesn't have integrity, he is a drug cheat.

They'd have to redo every Essendon game by that standard, which is silly. Give it to Cotchin and Mitchell. Should be like Tallent's medal.
Hey as a Eels fan I'm still gutted we didn't get a premiership after the Storm were booted. That year was just left as a blank despite us being runner up

So basically players defence team stuffed up at CAS and did not formally challenge the jurisdiction and procedure...

And for good measure even if players defence team did formally challenge there were no grounds to challenge on...
Pretty much was doomed to fail even before it began it would seem

It doesn't work like that with Essendon.
They live in a world apart.Have you not noticed how they react to their own mistakes, lies and cheating?
Obviously Jobe is going to hold a presser and announce he is suing anyone who suggests he hand back the Brownlow. Has anyone from that clib made a sincere apology to the footy public whom they have tormented for years with their shite?
Have you met a supporter yet who actually thinks their club or players did something wrong? Big fat Cult.

Because to be totally fair they would have to go back and annul all of Watsons votes round by round and re do all the votes. The games he got votes in need to be re-voted on
Why? It's no different to players ineligible due to suspension, they can still poll votes, they just can't win.

Drug cheats at the Olympics stripped of their medals see the competitors they beat advance one spot in the rankings. An Australian walker received a gold medal for the London Games after the walker he lost to was stripped of the medal for doping. There should be no difference here, but Gillon will get all weak kneed and not make a decision.
However it becomes a bit of a farce when the medals get down to 7, 8 & 9 because 1 - 6 have been done cheating (true story, from a recent batch of stored sample Olympics testing).

There is the small, unfinished business of held AFL samples from the same era, that can still be tested. Setting a precedence now to record no medal for the year, could protect against a possibility of multiple strip-award-strip-award happening?

Watson shouldn't be given a chance to hand over his Brownlow, he forfeited all rights to that when he showed a complete lack of integrity when he didn't surrender it long ago. The AFL must swiftly act to ensure it is stripped tomorrow. However Watson isn't the worst villain here, the AFL must take action against Hird who hasn't gotten away scott-free. He must be stripped of his AFL Hall of Fame membership as he is a disgrace to the game.
