Schofield got oliver with the point of his elbow to the point of the chin. The other incident only the tricep got Baguley's chin.
Bone on bone can cause a lot more damage with less force. The medical report doomed Schofield not Olivers fall.
Hit yourself in the chin with the muscle of your forearm, then do the same with your knuckle. See which one causes a stronger reaction.
(Fwiw i think parker should have been suspended for throwing the elbow. I think its stupid that the MRP judges by the medical report. Action should always be more scrutinised.)
Damage? The player himself said it just clipped him, he was scared and shouldn't have fallen over.
In that Parker/Baguley incident, which was undoubtedly involving much more force from the elbow, he escaped with a reprimand. The only real difference other than the severity of the elbow is the reaction of the player that was hit.
The MRP tends to go by impact rather than intent, rightly or wrongly. If Oliver stayed on his feet this wouldn't even get a fine and written off as a normal half time push and shove.
Mate Damien bloody Martyn of all people trolled him on twitter so he went running to YouTube to track down a video a quarter of a century old in an ill advised attempt to get his own back.Oohhh no poor kid will get booed. I'm sure he's shaking in his boots. Laughable.

Fair to say he's lacking a little mental fortitude.
So I guess the doctors lied when they wrote the medical report.
I think they said Clayton was lucky to survive, and will certainly never walk again. What specifically was in the medical report?
You don't know this. You are presenting your own supposition as fact. The MRP would have also examined Oliver for staging. This wasn't done in isolation. They assessed both events and made their decision based on the totality of what they saw.In that Parker/Baguley incident, which was undoubtedly involving much more force from the elbow, he escaped with a reprimand. He's a 19 year old kid... Nobody said he was perfect, well, maybe a couple of people did, but no, he isn't perfect. There's no reason for people to be making damning final judgements on a 19 year old kid based on a trivial incident.Mate Damien bloody Martyn of all people trolled him on twitter so he went running to YouTube to track down a video a quarter of a century old in an ill advised attempt to get his own back.

I think you've embarrassed yourself by making final judgement on a 19 year old kid based on this minor event. How many posts do you need to make about this? It doesn't even involve your club. Is it such a moral outrage to you that you just can't control yourself?Haha the Dees fans have really embarrassed themselves in this thread. Never seen so many supporters from a team come up with so much bullshit despite it being clear to everyone else.

I'm pretty sure it's not trivial to Schofield and his club.
Schofield has himself to blame for starting the incident. The MRP took everything into account. He didn't get done because of a dive. He got done because of what he attempted to do - regardless of how well he connected or what Oliver did afterwards.I'm pretty sure it's not trivial to Schofield and his club.
Yeah, nah. Lindsay never got anyone rubbed out.
North actually dealt with Lindsay on the subject and didn't sweep it under the carpet.

Adam Simpson tonight:
"I just hope Clayton is ok, I hope he made the trip home."
When was the last time a coach called out an opposition player for diving?
It doesn't get any more passive aggressive than that.
I wonder what career lowlight of Simpson's Clayton will select for his Twitter counter-attack?
Ok, keep posting about it if you must. But you are taking it very personally - I really can't find the outrage you're showing for stuff unrelated to my club, especially something so minor.Exactly. Has a player ever been suspended for another player taking a clear dive? I can't recall anything so weak as piss happening in the past. Is it, dare I say it, unprecedented?
