Adam Simpson tonight:

"I just hope Clayton is ok, I hope he made the trip home."

When was the last time a coach called out an opposition player for diving?

It doesn't get any more passive aggressive than that.

I wonder what career lowlight of Simpson's Clayton will select for his Twitter counter-attack?
Nice deflection from giving up a three goal lead with 4 minutes on the clock. Perhaps simmo would be better off discussing that or is he too embarrassed. What a flog

I think both topics were covered.

Can't believe he called him out on the dive. That's nuts from a coach.

Big man Simmo having a go at a 19 year old after Oliver's flown home upon beating the team Simmo coaches. Inspirational stuff in the WCE ranks

Yes he is 19 but has probably been playing and watching footy all his life . We play a real mans game a hard game . He knows it's not acceptable to dive and flop like a soccer player.

Not only does it make him look like a pussy he is getting another player falsely suspended .

At the end of the day he will be judged by the public and his peers .

The opposition will let him know about it I'll bet you that
Yes, they will, I agree. And I don't think you'll see that from him again.

I still don't think that was why Schofield got suspended though. If we can see what happened, why can't the MRP?

lol the salt is spreading. Pathetic comment from a head coach.

He should maybe focus more on his own player who elbowed him in the face and now has a week off. That and/or winning a game in Melbourne.

In the same interview:

"We can't dispute the medical report either."

I agree he is salty about the loss. But he is going all guns blazing on calling out Oliver's dive though.

Normally coaches just bite their tongue. He has decided to just call his bluff. Pretty funny.

I think anyone with eyes can see schofield glances his chin in the process of hitting his
chest .

It's the fact it looks like the the smallest amount of contact then Oliver hesitates and drops to the floor like he was sniped. Then the WTF look from schofield .

No such thing as taking it on the chin from Oliver .

Unless it's a set of balls !

Considering the bullshit in this thread I hope Schofield challenges, fails, and cops another week.

If Schofield didn't elbow a bloke in the chin off the ball at half time he would be playing this week.

2-3 weeks for a dive will turn this into the biggest farce in MRP history. Not sure the AFL want those headlines.

Your use of the word salt over and over is quite humorous and edgy.

Melbourne fans have turned this into the third-person version of "I know you are you said you are so what am I?"

To which I say, you're a tough promising footballer who made an absolute, undoubted fool of yourself. As has anyone who defends you.

As for Jack, we know he flops, and we don't like it.

But, to the best of my recollection, to date it hasn't played a part in someone getting suspended. The Parker on Baguley hit was a virtually identical incident and punished with a fine. The only, only difference, is Baguley didn't flop like Oliver.
Monfries got Lewis suspended, fessed up and the AFL still didn't overturn it.
