The Club June 6 9:00pm on FoxFooty
Hey Guys I thought there should be a discussion thread each week about our Fox show The Club.
Here we can discuss what happened on the show and hopefully some posters can summarize the episodes for those who don't have access to FoxFooty
On tonights episode
Tonight’s episode of 'The Club' features a close look at the development program at Collingwood and transition between the VFL and AFL competition.
We hear from VFL head coach Tarkyn Lockyer as he describes the process a young player must endure to reach AFL heights.

Sunday’s massive win over the Gold Coast Suns is captured through the eyes of a young Magpie brigade, commenting on what they notice their teammates doing right and wrong on the field.

Dayne Beams joins us in studio as we take a look at his daysplaying on the Gold Coast and how he has taken his game to greater heights in his fourth season at the Magpies.

Tune in tonight to FOX FOOTY (ch 504) at 9pm to watch the latest episode of 'The Club'.

Next week there will be an Announcement of a new recruit
Did anyone else have a bad feeling that the new recruit is in fact a "joke" and it may be someone like Strauchnie? God I hope not.

This show gets worse every week.
Was so much better when it was on the net! That is if this show is the replacement for the Thursday night show they had last year where they previewed the upcoming match and all that other stuff. I much preferred that. :(

Carlscum board eh? Tell me more about this terror.

It's a magical land filled with people so far up there own arse they can bite there tongue out

It's okay mate you didn't :)

I'm just looking back at it now there isn't much posts as I expected there to be in the thread.

Keep the one thread.
Ditch the other two, the mods can help here.
Bump it every week after the show has been on.

I come and have alook evry week because I don't get Fox.
Plenty of others do too no doubt.

The reason you don't get much feedback is that those who have watched the show don't post anything about what was in it...for us unwashed non-foxers.

Alright I'll bump it each week with the info the next episode.

I can make a summary of each episode but it would have to be the day after each episode

Yep I can bump it each episode.

I'm really hoping we have some signings to announce tonight. :)

Also hope the episodes get back to the early ones which were bloody grouse. More behind the scenes, more players lives, etc.

The club just posted a preview of tonight's episode:

In tonight’s episode of The Club, Hard Work, the spotlight is shone on Andrew Krakouer and Brent Macaffer as they strain their bodies to overcome long-term knee injuries.

The cameras follow the pair as they run their first time trial around Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park since they suffered ACL injuries during the pre-season. Under the guidance of club rehab specialists, fans will watch the two forwards reach another milestone in their recovery.

Go even deeper into the inner sanctum and see Collingwood’s Sport Science Director David Buttifant take the club’s injured players through their weekend rehabilitation at the Westpac Centre.

Tonight’s special guest is National Recruiting Manager Derek Hine, one of the architects of Collingwood’s run of six straight finals appearances. Hine will give an insight into the way he built the Magpies’ list via the draft in recent years, and explain what he saw in players such as Ben Sinclair and Lachlan Keeffe who have featured heavily in Collingwood’s bright start to 2012.

Make sure you’re watching The Club on Fox Footy at 9pm tonight around the country. The episode will be uploaded to CTV, meaning Magpie fans won’t miss a minute of the show.

Episode sounds grouse!

Cannot wait to see how Krak and Caff are travelling and also hear from Butters and Hine. This episode will be great!
