Like Hawthorn's clash jumper, this Eagles one - despite the big logo - just doesn't instantly make me think "Ah, I know who that is". White jumpers are fine if white is one of your colours, otherwise more effort in design is required to tie it back to the club's traditional look.

At a minimum, WC should be going for clash gold...

That looks awesome. I was hoping our clash would be gold. Damn the dimwits at the AFL having to have white guernseys, it's not test cricket for goodness sake.

the WC alternate doesnt have the dark back like HAWs. In this regard, it's a more effective uniform at distinguishing itself from dark uni's.

i see AFL clubs are still persisting with mickey mouse desgins of mascots, etc, though.
