I usually wait for an entire season to release, and then binge watch, but, have d/l'd the first four episodes of Season 5 and will queue up to watch today.

Wow, sir. What an episode. Arguably one of the single greatest episodes in TV history. So much shit went down all of a sudden, unexpectedly.

The prison break section of the story was very fun. The bodies flying around like rag dolls looked cool.
Holden is a lucky boy.
That ending space chase scene was epic.

The Expanse is a fantastic show, but I think im a bit over it. Have been getting into recent canceled sci fi shows like Travelers, Contiuum, Dark Matter, Incorporated....found them more engaging

Undoubtedly the best sci-fi on TV at the moment, period. May even be in discussion for best current TV show overall. I thought they managed to deal with writing off Alex well enough.

Drummer's become one of my favourite characters and her arc this season was fantastic. The shot immediately after she learnt Ashford was killed by Inaros awoke something in me...

I can't think of a better science fiction show, I watched it one show per night so that I didn't blow through the whole thing too quickly. I loved that scene in the last episode when Amos introduced Holden to the new crew member. Alex will be sadly missed. I Am also a Drummer fan, I hope she's the one who gets to eventually bring Inaros down. Be nice to see a Belter solution to a Belter problem.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but Grand Uncle Horace is running a game of Werewolf that is based on The Expanse (so all the different roles you can play as are characters from the series).

I don't know if any of you have ever played Werewolf on BigFooty before (or the real life version of it or similar games like Mafia or Town Of Salem), but if you haven't, a theme like this might be a really great entry point. The concept of the game is pretty simple - there are two evil factions and a team of good players, each trying to get rid of all the other factions. Each day in the game thread, everyone (both evil factio s and all the good players) discuss who's acting suspicious abd then votes for who they want to "lynch" that day. Where it gets a bit more complicated is overnight, as the evil factions and some good players have actions they can perform privately that don't get revealed until the next morning (e.g. killing another player, protecting someone or finding out someone's role etc). Over the course of a few days, the numbers dwindle until one of the teams win the game by taking out everyone from the other factions.

I started playing last year and have become hopelessly addicted, as the fun of trying to fool everyone as to your true role while trying to work out who everyone else with is really compelling.
