It's a pain in the arse being delisted mid season and having to sit out.

I was delisted for no good reason.

Make it so that players can't be delisted mid season unless the club wants to do so.

Unless that's already the way it is.

Pretty sure that's how it is

Arnott's should have delisted chicken crimpy years ago.

Why the **** do they make two different biscuits that are chicken flavoured? The chicken crimpys are a little more moist than the chicken drumstick, almost as if they have already been used in a game of soggy sao, which is a rather unpleasant feeling on the tongue

Nacho cheese are indisputably the best flavour.

yet more things you are wrong about, chicken crimpy is the **** ;)

How was I being a dick? I didn't ask to be delisted from the Bears. I publically stated that I wanted to stay there until the end of the season.

your position became untenable due to your own actions, any captain worth their salt would have delisted you

Only the incredibly short sighted and/or unintelligent ones.

I feel dirty saying this, but Nakia was spot on about the lack of respect shown to the league by the majority of current captains.

What an absolute farce

I've said from the beginning, and it is fact, the only way the rules of delisted free agency can be manipulated is if captains allow it for nefarious reasons.

Quivorir got through on a loophole of the rules being tightened as his and spookism's "hilarious" goof on the Hawks was reaching it's end. I allowed a contingent of committee members to convince me to allow it to be voted on by the group. That's my bad. I'll cop it for being a controlling Hitler, I'll cop it for allowing a more open forum. Ce'st La Vie. Lesson learned by the committee and by me. The silver lining is the Wolves get a very good look at who they are entrusting their club to next season.

Smartys Power and okeydoke7... their honesty will come out in the wash. Until I see proof otherwise, their statements of a mutual dissolution of their relationship has to be taken at word. However if any indication comes to light that manipulation or ridicule of the league is at play by any individual involved here then the sanctions will be severe. I'm sure a lengthy suspension will make the joke seem funnier.

Yes you were.

You ****ed up numerous times and ultimately were on a different wavelength to the rest of the West Coast outfit. You were delisted rightfully as the West Coast team agreed upon.

Not at all.

What if a player wants to play for another team and tells his/her captain "Please delist me, I don't have an interest in the league at the moment and would rather not be on the list." The captain does the right thing and wished the player well. Next week, the player returns and wants to sign with the team he wants to play for?

The captain had no idea of this and has no power to stop the move.

So no, the captains aren't the only ones responsible for when this flaky rule is manipulated.

And the rule states that delisted free agents must be approved by the admin - to be changed to the committee in the next season.

If a captain says that player told them they were leaving and then they came back to go elsewhere, I can guarantee that the committee isn't rubber stamping that deal. There is no hole in this scenario short of eight committee members becoming corrupt for no reason.

But what's wrong in someone quitting and coming back? Isn't that the point of the rule - to allow players with re-registered interests to play for whomever they want to play for?

Your notion that the only way the rule can be manipulated is through the captains is false.

From the current rules: A "delisted free agent" is only identified if they have been delisted by their club, not if they have walked out. Delisted free agency does not exist within finals. The admin must approve the signing of any delisted player by his/her new team.

Somebody requesting a delisting is deemed to have walked out.

I'm sure a disclaimer regarding approval from their previous captain can be integrated into the next rules update. It's hardly going to be a factor this season.

The Filth Wizard v Arnott's - You Decide

I was really disappointed when, in the pre-season, The Filth Wizard put forward the notion of delisted free agency. One of the fundamentals of this league is that you play for your club for the entire season unless a trade can be made in the allotted time frame.

When The Filth Wizard took over he sighted a 'new and improved' league. How wrong was he?

The Filth Wizard sighted many examples where delisted free agency would help to alleviate a problem within the league. Nakia. HaroLad. Uncle_Leo. But why should the league accommodate individuals when it's a privilege to play in this league, not a right? It was mooted at the time that any virtues of this new measure would be overriden by one or two players taking the piss out of the rule, creating a farcical situation. Lo and behold, we've arrived at that point.

Should Quivorir be allowed to play for another club because he was being a dick? Of course not. He should have pulled himself up and stopped behaving like a spoilt brat (bit hard for him I know). Alas, he didn't get his comeuppance and now he's enjoying his time at the Wolves. And will probably win a flag at that.

Should okeydoke7 be allowed to play for another club because he's a curse*? Of course not. The Demons knew what they were getting when they signed him. He should've apologised to the qooty gods, stopped behaving like an entitled little shit and kicked more goals.

Members of the Committee voted overwhelmingly today to allow both Quivorir and okeydoke7 to change clubs under the delisted free agency rule. Are they all so stupid that couldn't see what was plain as day? Or is just apathy? Or are they all secretly wanting The Filth Wizard to make yet another arse of himself?

We all know okeydoke7 and Smartys Power are taking the piss. We all know this is not a legitimate falling out between club and player. So why is the league Administrator allowing it? He's already said he wouldn't be played. Will he be forced to go back on his, and the Committee's decision? Will he be forced to walk with his tail between his legs?

I liken The Filth Wizard's delisted free agency rubbish to that of Arnott's changing their Shapes' flavours. I mean. What in the actual ****? Shapes have been a staple in our lunch boxes for yonks. Shapes have been ruined by Arnott's decision. The league's fabric is being ruined by The Filth Wizard's decision.

I ask the question, who has made the biggest error here, The Filth Wizard's delisted free agency rubbish or Arnott's changing their range of Shapes flavours?

When it comes to the crunch, neither stack up.

*Bulltish to create a narrative for this farce.

Outstanding.

I will be more sensitive in our match thread from this day forth.

In regards to the okey situation, I accept you absolving yourself of some responsibility given you chose to put it to a vote. While I think it's still a bit of a cop out, it's frankly amazing how many captains allowed it to occur. I'm disappointed that you didn't go all Kurt Russell on the league's arse and block okey's move. The fact that you're still going with the public line of "I take okey and smartys at their word", disappointingly, makes you look weaker by the day.

Of course, when you grow a set and ban both of them for four games, I'll start loving you again :hearts:

All it will take is the inevitable okeydoke7 "I fought the law" media thread and I have them on toast. It will be interesting to see play out :thumbsu:
