Yep,,,best team won,,,,the boys weren't right between the ears today,,and needed on field leadership,,,where that stems from i have no idea,,because at the moment ,,Tex sure aint up to it..Sloane certainly didn't fly the flag,,Dougy,,,Lynch ,,and a few of the other senior players showed nothing,,,,so where do head ..???... I thought M.Crouch + all all of our back line tried their guts out ,,filthy on Jelly Bean Jenkins ( the most over paid,,under performing bloke in our team ( he had a few mates today )..They had their chance at the big dance and listened to the crowd instead of the music...All in all..the boys gave us a lot of joy this year,,,,Thanks for that,,and lets hope we take a bit from it .... 2018...here we come

Was on the Crows bandwagon today and it brought back memories of 2014. The best team of the season doesn't always win the flag unfortunately.
It'll sting for a long time, but the Crows were still the best side this year. You'll be in the mix again next year. Don't be too hard on yourselves.

Nope. And they like it that way. We'll always be the invaders to their VFL.
While half the teams know that regardless of how putrid they've been for years, if they make a grand final they get instant home ground advantage, and the other half know that if they make it, they're travelling, it'll never be fair.
Be like having the Cricket World Cup final in India every single time regardless of where the group stages are.

He's serviceable. He's a leader. Other players jump on board when he does something and so do the fans.
Unfortunately he's no better than serviceable. Unfortunately he is limited in his leadership by how much he can impact a game. He only has 1 effort at each contest, and he's lucky if he even makes it to the contest. That's why McGovern was so badly missed today, for all those high flying balls that were bombed in early.
Tex isn't the player he looked like being before doing his knee. But he is serviceable. 50 goals a yr for the last 3 yrs or so is serviceable in a forward line that has multiple options. No better, no worse.

What annoys me about all this is how much money people that live in SA has just made Victoria. We all know how much Victorians think they are better thank SA and we have just contributed to that.
On the plus side "the killers"'were probably the best grand final choice the afl have gone with in a long time?
Lol. That's the only positive I got. That and I thought people would finally see how badly hartigan performs under pressure. But apparently no one cares that he turns it over for goals straight back over his head and it's all Jenkins fault.

No surprise that when the real heat is on and we need players to stand up the same ones turn to mush. Mackay, Atkins, Jenkins, Seedsman, Cameron, Lynch. Otten on Rance was useless. Our delivery into the forward line was predominantly to Richmond’s favour.
Eddie took no leadership today. He had to be selfish and take ownership and kick the goals instead of trying to give off.
Richmond did what they have to all the other teams they have played in the finals. We were out coached, out worked and the Richmond bandwagoners and Victorian media lapped it up. Richmond played the better, but to dish that shite up on the big stage shows we have a long way to go and players need to be shown the door or play their contracts out in the sanfl. Our wings and half forwards today were shizenhousen and should never play for the best 22 again. With smith out for a whole season that just makes it even more hard to bear.
I’m gutted. Not only for the loss, but for the amount of shit we will receive from the 18whatever flogs. Had to put up with one who I invited into my home and stirred the shit all day long. Too all my willpower not to punch his lights out. Having to listen to all the vic media flogs go on about it is going to be bearable only because I won’t be watching or reading anything to do with this match ever again.
Club has to play hardball at the trade table. Get some players with some mental fortitude and trade out all those who don’t or don’t want to be here next year.

Could you explain what tunnelling is?
I'd like to say the pain of a bad GF loss goes away, but I am still annoyed with our 2015 performance. And that is not even factoring the small fortune I spent travelling to game from Perth (and taking my mum with me).

Dusty won the medal but it was Houli and Rance who them the Premiership.
Their ability to.take away our forward space is what won them that game.
