He was traded for Fiora aye?

no, but both draw comparisons due to switching to opposing clubs & Fiora in particular being maligned at the Tigers.

Now when you refer to a players BEST EVER game, normally it doesnt reflect the type of woeful stats that your refering to (unless its there first game).

Fiora's form has been a lot more of a reason for Saints to excited about, but even they seem to be able to keep a lid on it.

God help us if Knobel one day reaches the peak & pulls down

2 marks,
3 kicks,
5 handballs,
1 goal
& 20 hit outs...........

Richmond fans wont be able to contain themselves.

But I suppose if you aim low enough, all types of expectations are achievable.

worse ruckman then knobel going around.. Brooks, Jamar, Sandliands(cant even get a touch on the pill and hes the tallest player there)McLaren, So im not too fussed about Knobel

im sure if you could find stats for hit outs/TOG knobel would be one of the worst ruckman ever...

What he does do is provide a contest and do most of the hard things which is why he wasn't vilified at st.kilda

Start at the title of this thread.................

Then for more comedy read post 1 & 2.

Then the best part is that you actually believe what your saying.

That said, it probably was his best game ever.

Other ruckmen would be dropped to the maggos, but for Knobel, yeah, that was GREAT.
You get a gold star for your scrap book today Trent Knobel.

Pretty ironic considering your mob were busting their arse trying to get him.

Good on Trent. Not the most talented player by any means but does what is required of him, gives his all and is pretty hard at it.
I hope he does well at the Tigers, he has a big heart even though not a great amount of ability.

Good luck to trent, glad to hear he is doing well. however i think we're quite happy with ackland thank you very much. So both teams are happy with their pick ups! sounds like the perfect arrangement to me

To be top 10 in the league for hitsouts this year, being our 3rd choice ruckman isnt a bad effort.

So your BIG COUP recruitment of Knobel was so you could "break even" ?????

And St. Kilda should be missing this bloke on todays performance ????

I think the big winners today were the Saints in the fact they got Fiora for close to F.All.
they gave up heath black for fiora

Id take Knobel of that Taylor bloke :)
Geez you are a moron Bentleigh. Taylor has played a total of 2 GAMES and has been great so far. Hasn't looked out of place at all and has shown more than Knobel has in his whole career.
On the weekend, in his second match, he played less than half a game, against the might of Charman,McLaren and co and STILL had the same amount of hitouts as Dudley Knobel. In less than half a game, and in his second match!!
We got him at pick53, pay him bugger all and we didn't have to waste the top pick in the PSD on him. Still rather Knobel?
