Thoughts?

I really liked it. Rob Sitch's roll is very Mike Mooreish, but nicely done and Snato Ghuro looks Frontline too, still minor roll. I think it was a prety bloody good first show.

I actually thought he played that kind of Office role, the bumbling leader taking directions from his staff and easily walked over.

I was in a mood to laugh because I love working dog stuff, but I liked it.

Great show, much more like The Games than Frontline or The Office though. And like The Games, it owes a great debt to Yes, (Prime) Minister.

Just goes to show that the world of political spin is an bottomless goldmine of smart comedy.

Very good... razor sharp. Really liked how Rob likes to write everything down but never has a pen... actually know someone who does that all the time.

Wonder how Rudd will spin the inferences the show makes?

;)

Was pretty good. Will we actually see the PM in normal gear?

Hoping Merrick Watts character is more prominent in later episodes.

The series (only 6 episodes) has been made without the appearance of any politician whatsoever, including and especially the Prime Minister.

I missed the first 5 minutes last night but on the basis of what I saw after that I thought it was mildly amusing, but pales in comparison with the likes of Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister.

However, it's at least ten times more amusing than most other Australian comedies.

I really enjoyed it.
Found it intelligent, witty satire.

Interesting that Rob Sitch' character is pretty much a bald Mike Moore.

Even Santo Cilauro's character had a lot of 'Geoff The Weatherman' about it.

That's very true. Ten years on and in a different office, but just about each Frontline character was recreated.

I worked with Rob's brother for about 4-5 years.

It's not actually a joke.

Sitchs character was a bit Mike Mooreish [a bit dumb] and having Santo wearing a vest everytime did make him look like the nerdy weatherman Geoff from Frontline.

All we need now is Tommy G in the background working on a photocopier :D

Or 'Kor' coming through with his vacuum cleaner at an inconvenient moment.

This show is the best thing since Frontline.

Brilliant first epidose...."a raft of changes" :D

Don't you just know that is exactly how it plays out behind closed doors in Canberra.

"So what exactly is in this raft?" :D

Thought for a first episode it was pretty good.
I liked some of the subtle stuff as well, like when Merrick Watts' character points at the white-board with a half eaten Wagon Wheel just after the "Junk Food Lobby" group left...
