IMO he is a better defender than he is a forward. We already have a solid forward line, and id like to think when McKenzie plays as our Full Back next year, Gov will be our Centre Half Back giving us the best spine in the comp.

Is the best intercept mark I have seen at the club since McKenna.
Love the boy.
Where his future is concerned, I think we will get the best use out of him as Hunter 2.0. He is an exceptional intercept mark, but he also has a fairly accurate boot on him. When the team is fully fit and firing, I reckon he should start the game in defence, but when we are up by a couple of goals he should be moved to attack for maximum killing potential. AKA:
Simmo: "Third quarter. We lead by 20. Opposition forwards are tiring. ACTIVATE THE GUVNAH!!!!!"

I wonder how many blokes on here declaring their boner behaviour in response to our boys actually mean it...for me, it is Sheppard. And I mean it. He is a stunning bloke and competing like a boss while maintaining a high disposal efficiency.

Mitts Muh-Govern is a hit with the commentators. Not sure I've heard him called as McGovern anytime recently. Lazy campaigners those commentators
