Autopsy The King influences Umpires a win over North by 3 points... #jessiewhitesque

Shit way to win, but at the end of the day it was a deserved free kick and we needed some luck to finally go our way somewhere.

Some of our mids had okay games but absolutely smashed in the clearances again today. I have no idea what the answer to that is, but clearly neither do our coaching staff.

Anyway, we got the W and it seemed to mean a lot to the players. Lets hope it's enough of a spark to get some semblence of momentum into our season.

Yiu said yourself north are a basket case and we won by 3

I think we need to look where our wins are at and the performances for the year and how we are playing

Just my take anyway

Again all I said was sometimes any win is all you need to see some confidence belief and change in a side , Also said it's not necessarily happening here .

I'll be tipping Carlton

I just don’t agree with snitches. Just a personal opinion

did rampe dob the interchange in?

who cares players say i touched it or the guys over the mark , he he encroached and all that shit all the time

smart if he noticed

I harped on about it in the gameday thread but papley is not a flipping mid. He should br nowhere near the centre bounces or midfield. He's an AA small fwd. Keep him in the fwd line. He's shithouse in mids.

You know what? I'm actually proud of the team for that win.

You just know North want to beat us BADLY as a club. Like last year at the SCG they gave us a big scare when we were full strength and premiership contenders. Today they were surging and we looked down and out with our entire B team playing.

We still found a way to win and turn the tide. Don't care how it happened but we did it. We were deep inside North's forward 50 and they were flooding back. We probably would have found an assy goal anyway.

Season might be done but I'll enjoy a win while I can.

Rule is after the infringement is called the penalty is at the next stoppage in play

Rampe heard the infringement hot and biscuit and tries to get the message out to get a stoppage deep

Whether he influenced the game is not clear

Can't remember the last time I saw a team go over interchange

Not too important but what was Rampe doing there in the first place? I mean he is injured, so why are we flying injured players to Melbourne to watch the game, especially since Rampe is a New South Welshman so he won't be using the opportunity to visit family.

I agree with your sentiment.

However, same time last year we only snuck home against North with a full strength team, went on to beat Melbourne and Collingwood twice and got to a Grand Final.

Lots of weird stuff can happen in an AFL season.

I understand you want us to lose badly so that we'll sack our coach and improve due to our mistakes. Whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger or whatever, but my take is that won't help.

I felt Swans would have won regardless, had momentum after we failed to ice the game, shit way to lose but we constantly invent new ways to lose.

I thought Parker and Warner in particular where immense for the Swans.

Well I imagine that's the primary role of a recruiter, to predict what players turn into ?
Geez you reckon?

Then why wasn't Goodes, Fyfe, Gulden, Warner... taken earlier then? Guess most recruiters are absolute jackasses then. OR ... MAYBE... JUST MAYBE it's mostly just educated guesses.

Stephens was probably the wrong choice. It happens.

Because he's our captain and knows our structures and players and communication as well as anyone?

I don't want to hear any excuses about heeney or papley so called injuries. Both played in the mids and have played up the ground throughout the season. Both are not injured. Stop making excuses for their s**t form. They're just s**t right now.

Anyone saying they're injured are kidding themselves. You have zero proof.
Yeah unfortunately I sorta agree now. Heeney... sigh. How I loved thee.

Actually I saw him and amartey training near goschs paddock at about 9 am

Uh because he one of the captains? Also would help the coaches?

The rest of the squad is also in Melbourne for the reserves games that starts in 10 mins.

Selling your side short mate we were outplayed for most of it and got a win due to a 10000-1 scenario
