Shit way to win, but at the end of the day it was a deserved free kick and we needed some luck to finally go our way somewhere.

Some of our mids had okay games but absolutely smashed in the clearances again today. I have no idea what the answer to that is, but clearly neither do our coaching staff.

Anyway, we got the W and it seemed to mean a lot to the players. Lets hope it's enough of a spark to get some semblence of momentum into our season.

Hard to say from the outside aside from injuries what else is impacting the team especially the midfield.

Desire, confidence, care, instructions, coaching??

But Fremantle were shit and looked to have turned it around.

Expectations are pretty low atm, so wasn't a bad game when you can just watch it as a game and not worry about the bigger picture of a season.

The Bad

• Goalkicking, game should've been over at qtr time...honestly if we weren't so shithouse at this, for all our problems our ladder position wouldn't even been that bad.
• Clearances...we're shocking here, another thing where for all the bad and other things that have gone wrong all year eg. injuries/list management blah blah, if we were a little bit better here, we'd have won another game or 2 and not be looking so bad ladder wise. Never as good or bad as it seems in sport...ever.

The Good

• McLean 's has shown more than he ever has since he's been playing more ruck, maybe the beers but in the last 10 minutes he was doing most the ruckwork and we were less bad around the stoppages.
• Parker pretty much willed us there.
• McAndrew showed a little but, far from great but nice to see a ruckman actually get first hands on it occasionally...needs some work on the hitout direction though, but actually being able to win a hitout is something we haven't had much of lately.

The pornhub worthy

I think we need to look where our wins are at and the performances for the year and how we are playing
