Fk GWS fk losing go dogs win every game from now until the end of time
I’m with Euku. Dogs win and Carlton win - never not want to make finals. I’ve barracked for the Dogs longer than anyone currently at the club was there and I’ll be barracking for the Dogs long after everyone currently at the club is gone!

I know that some of you think that the Dogs will inevitably be owned by Geelong, like we always are, drop even further down the ladder and finish the season under a heap of pressure. But, for me, tonight is a real danger game.
Are we in danger of… winning??

A mate said he saw Nigel Lappin in Brisbane today.

Have Geelong sent the coaching panel on holiday early too?

A Napoli pizza with olives and anchovies will get us over the line, causing a massive number of posters to melt. I await the entertainment with garlic breath.

Question, if we get up and gws lose, how keen is everyone to attend a Vic final at the MCG?

Ask me any day of the week outside the last month and I’m there but this team is just so hard to watch right now.

Maybe I’ll change my tune for a final where anything could happen but it would suck to witness us get blasted off the map by Carlton to end their finals streak. This club is just yuck at the moment.

Only game I’d bother with right now is a final, just too good to pass up the slight chance we play well, literally nothing beats winning a final. But I get where you’re coming from.

The other thing is I feel like if we make finals Bev might survive, and if he does it’ll probably be our last final for some time…

Reckon a pick in before is so important this year to hopefully start rejuvenating the midfield.

Trouble is the top end mids will be gone before we get a crack at picking. So we either reach or take best available which could be yet another tall in O'Sullivan potentially.

He may have been advised to stay inside 🙁

I was thinking similarly. Not about finals, but about how grateful I now am that I didn't have to leave the house for the last game of the year. Being scheduled to play at Geelong has finally paid off.

Should it come to finals, if in Melbourne I assume I (and many others) will fork out the hard earned, don the colours and trek to watch like a pack of zombies....

Geelongs best team or not, if the talk on here is true about the internal struggle with Bev and the board, there is absolutely no way we win tonight - if we know this stuff the players do too, there will be zero effort
We all see things differently but as I watched the comedy unfold last week, thought many were trying too hard and working as individuals rather giving a hand pass to a teammate. Once you go on the ground, it is pretty difficult for amateurs to make zero effort let alone professionals.

I may have got it very wrong wrt the North-GCS game but I can't help feeling that the prospective ladder draft order will have an influence on this match.

If we win (and GWS lose) we get pick 11 or maybe even lower if we somehow knock off Carlton in the EF.
If we lose we get no worse than pick 9 but could be as high as 7.

If Geelong win they get pick 10.
If they lose they get no worse than pick 8 but could be as high as pick 6.
Geelong have already given us a glimpse of what might be their approach, by leaving out half of their stars.

The big difference is that a WB win might just get us into the finals whereas Geelong won't be playing finals whatever the result. Thre's nothing to play for but pride and self-esteem (which I admit shouldn't be underestimated).

Also, I'm hoping our boys are really smarting after two sub-par performances meaning they are due for an uptick in intensity.

So it's Dogs by 15 for me.
