The big minigure is very cool. You should get a buzz out of building that. One of the sleeper sets of the year IMHO.Have you seen the stack I have to build? Including Collisseum. Starting Lego shop and big mini figure this week.
Yeah I think it'll go ok with the bonsai despite being a different scaleLol
That gardens one looks ok imo
They're right. 11 years of failure was enough, and it was a natural time to move on. Sadly we are an AFL-run club and our chairman is a despot. The AFL is happy for us to be middle of the road, whilst of course the fans aren't.My Power supporting workmates are not impressed with Ken staying on
I'm wondering if it could somehow be integrated into the Botanic Gardens being roughly at Minifigure scale.Definitely will go well with the Bonsai
Was initially reluctant but then Jaysbrickblog mentioned each insect is about 20cm wide - that's not too shabby. Fits in well with Botanicals too.I won't link here in case others are entomophobic, but the Lego Ideas Insects set is announced today and the builds look very clever. Not sure how many will willingly display Lego insects (I know it'd be a hot topic at our place) but there's no disputing the quality of the set. $125, releasing 1 September.
Looking for an excuse to try one of the Dreamzzz sets. Have just been told the grandchildren think they're cool
I think I'll get it for the build value. Can't imagine I'd be displaying them anywhere public .Was initially reluctant but then Jaysbrickblog mentioned each insect is about 20cm wide - that's not too shabby. Fits in well with Botanicals too.
Will wait for a discount.
I liked the Treehouse and Stable. There certainly seems to be a lot of imagination in them. The turtle van looks fun. I don't dig them enough to buy any.

Yeah the London store I went in to several years ago was far more impressive than the one they opened in the last 12 months near me.Jaysbrickblog is teasing a new Lego Store in Pitt St, Sydney, said to be "opening soon". When it does open it'll be the largest in the world at 900sqm. Doesn't say whether it'll be company owned or join the chain of Certified Stores, but I hope it'll be a little more like flagship stores elsewhere in the world. I don't know if it's just me but I find the experience in our stores somewhat underwhelming when you see the videos of the experiences in overseas stores, particularly in the US.
You've been to the Leicester Square store? I am most enviousYeah the London store I went in to several years ago was far more impressive than the one they opened in the last 12 months near me.
