Probably going to be safer to get it from the official lego website?

Part of me is considering a click and collect from a certified store, but I don't imagine they'll be guaranteeing GWPs online.
Yes, to be sure I'd buy from Lego online as early as possible. The Store online is a good fallback, as they have the same offer.

Unfortunately, the GWPs from the Store aren't available C&C. I think this is because they like to keep store stock for walk-ins (I've asked them about this before when something showed OOS in store online but was actually available in store).

IM SO HAPPY!
IM SO HAPPIER :)

To those who may not have purchased yet - BEFORE you hit the button, you can redeem up to three $7.50 vouchers for 168 points each, giving you another $22.50 off your purchase on top of any other points you want to use.

I finished up with four GWP sets (I got one with some points on top of the other three) and roughly a $40 discount. Stoked.

I did see that but I thought there was a page where you could see what your points get?

Should be plenty of reviews on this thread soon ;). Mine's a Christmas present sadly so review will be a tad late. I'm convinced though that this is going to be a ripper, especially for those for whom Titanic was out of reach. If you're buying please please please do it now so you get the Lifeboat as well, I think it's essential to the set.

As ridiculous as it is to be spending $400 on a plastic puzzle as a grown man, if I was Lego I would not be offering a $399 product with multiple GWP if you spend $400. I'd at least be making it $450 or $500, or $400 with a cheaper set. I just know that if the Endurance was $399 and I needed to spend $450 I would be looking for things that are $51 not $1...

Yes there is, you go to the redeem link on the Insiders page and on mine at least it was the first reward. If you're going to buy from lego.com in the next 60 days, go and redeem anyway as you'll get discount vouchers you can use then.

$400 is the highest GWP threshold I've seen ever, so that was probably done deliberately knowing that this would be just under, and anyone wanting the Record Player would have to order something else. Being a tight**** I added a keyring ;).

Staying up past midnight to get a free plastic toy for buying a very expensive plastic toy is just about the least noteworthy thing I've ever done. But sheesh I'm happy right now :p.

I ended up foregoing the record player. I could've handled spending $1... but when i had the $70 worth of points about to expire, it didn't make any sense to spend $71 more than I needed to. I think given the availability of it, the record player is unlikely to ever recoup that $70.

Then did the trick with the vouchers.

So spent under $320 on it.

If I've received my confirmation does that mean we're all good?

edit: After tossing and turning on it all day - in fact all week - I'm a few hours post purchase (up already watching NFL) and I feel great about it, I'm really glad I went ahead with it. Especially having decided I didn't need the record player, so I could just get it as cheap as possible.

Yes, if you have the confirmation email it's all good. They usually send two - one a generic "thanks for ordering" that comes pretty much straight away, and a second with confirmation of what you ordered and the order number, which can take a little while (but not more than a few hours).

Smart move re the Record Player and not getting sucked into spending more than you wanted :thumbsu:.

Looking at the social media the certified stores were apparently offering click & collect with Shackleton's lifeboat, but they were gone within 3 minutes. So I don't have any idea which, if any of the stores near me had it. Central would've been most likely, but with the sun and humidity today it would've also been the biggest pain in the ass to get to.

Fingers crossed they're already located in Australia and we're getting them mid next week.

Although it's probably better if it takes longer, having an order on the way often encourages me to try and clear the decks and build a couple of things, I've just pulled out the Aston Martin F1 this morning.
