& how many key position forwards that get drafted turn out to be match winners? & how manny taken outside the top 10 picks in the draft?

Van Roonen has shown nothing to suggest he will be any better than the dime a dozen 2nd - 3rd key forward who ultimately don’t offer much than a guy taken at pick 30+ in the draft

& how many play under 195cm in the modern game? (Van Roonen is an undersized key forward at 193)

The way he’s talked about it’s as if he’s 198cm kicking bags in his 2nd year)

He’s kicked multiple goals twice this year and that’s playing as the demons only genuine “key” forward for most of the games and having 200cm resting rucks taking the sides best defenders

However Brown has been injured all year has played 3 games back at vfl level and has been in the sides bests in 2 of them

He's not just a spud, he's not a match winner.

Even though he won the match against Richmond.

He's also kicked multiple goals three times.

I bet their hatred was increased when Melbourne won it in 2021 and relegated them to the longest premiership drought.

They have been a tragic club their entire existence. At least they could say “But we’ve won a premiership more recently than Melbourne, and the Bulldogs, and the Swans, and the Lions.”.
