Bigfooty on light mode
Dark mode is for soy latte sipping, inner city lefty types with weak retinas that can't handle a little bit of bright light.
Back in my day we stared at the family computer monitor on max brightness for 10 hours straight while trying to load Ask Jeeves.

"I’m done. The game is stuffed. Once gambling was legal, money flows and corruption infiltrated the AFL. They change the rules so umpires have influence on the game…..they do . No one from the media calls it out as they toe the line in the form of gambling sponsorship they receive. AFL receives millions of dollars from these companies it’s a business and AFL sets the agenda of who they want in the finals and to win it. We created the chaos ball which no team could replicate and the AFL had to step in to change the rules, umpire the game so no dynasty is made. It’s a business and better for revenue if games are not blow outs in prime time. Earsets introduced, snicko etc again to control the game to their agenda. It’s a shame we had a great game that has been ruined by betting companies and agendas the AFL can control.

Just had a squizz through that umpiring thread on the Richmond board, some incredible levels of bonkers there.
Four pages added since our game. I tried to multi-quote the nuffiest responses but I went over the text limit!
Two separate posts claiming that even a friend/relative from overseas that's new to the game thought the umps were corrupt. Can't argue with independent expert opinion like that...

The grand conspiracy against Richmond is one of my favourite nuffy comments that comes up every year. They're one of the biggest and most profitable clubs in the whole league but yeah sure the AFL WANTS them to fail
