“Like the Tom McDonald idea 3 years on decent coin - guaranteed to play allows us to develop young kpfs like ramsden and hopefully another we draft in this year.”

Over on the Hawks forum… they reckon a three year deal for cooked Tmac would be sensible. They must think it’s still 2018.

Like * theyd pay a second we'd be lucky to get something inside 50
Unfortunately Hawthorn’s list management team aren’t as loony as some of their BigFooty supporters.

If TMac went somewhere at the end of this year it would be a Sam Mitchell/Jordan Lewis style trade situation. Potentially with Melbourne still covering some of his salary because he’s contracted to the end of 2024.

The fourth post in the Marlion Pickett arrested thread on the Richmond board:
Bloody shame. Banks to debate next week surely

Probably hanging out with idiot mates. Seems to be the way most AFL players get themselves into trouble.

I’m a bit disappointed with the police though. I reckon an arrest half way through the second quarter would’ve made for cracking TV.

Pickett (subbed out - in custody)

Yeah imagine seeing the coppers chase him around the field like he was a streaker. Would get replayed on highlights shows for decades.

Hes 31. How about acting your age and being a man and saying no.

Guys with idiot mates are probably also idiots.

I had plenty of my mates go to jail growing up, get hooked on ice etc etc...there comes a time where they are no longer mates in your life. They are only there to drag you down. Agree, if he hasn't learnt by now he is likely the kind of guy who drags others down.

Yep, one of my mates was on a current affair on a segment about ice and how he wanted to be able to see his kid again. Ripping young fella but it's one thing to hang around those types at 20 which is why I have some sympathy for the young blokes when they get in trouble. By the time your 30 though you have to pull ya head in and surround yourself with people moving up not down

One of my best mates growing up was always in trouble, got me in a fair bit of trouble too, driving unlicensed, doing dumb shit in cars constantly, he took a mates car to go down the main street pissed one night with me in it and flipped it after doing a massive burnout, we went thru a persons fence and ended up upside down in their front yard. Used to get in fights all the time when he was out which I would end up in also.... I think by the time I was 25 I ended up getting sick of that type of crap, stopped hanging round with him eventually, it was all too much and the same shit every weekend. Couple of years later he ended up in Barwon Prison for 2 years for dealing. Hadn't seen him in 10 years then out of the blue I heard he died, crashed a car driving unlicensed into a power pole and it burst into flames, his 7 year old son was inside and managed to get out but watched his dad burn to death. Poor kid.

He never grew up, and death was always on the cards for him from a young age, glad I had the balls to break our friendship off when I did.

Yeah I left Straya for a couple years to get away from all the meth and shit, came back to visit and went back with the old mates and watched a guy get so ****ed up on the pipe and vodka he crashed his car into a pole just down the street from us and died. Moved to Melbourne like a week later to get away from them boys.

Pretty sure Cameron beat him on the day
Yeah, not sure about that...

Cameron had a good game around the ground, but Grundy dominated him in the middle and was there during the really big moments.

Full team v Collingwood missing a number.

That's reversed in finals. And easily.

And another from our favourite Bulldog(gy's) poster.

Imagine if Bontempelli missed a game, let alone 3. They'd have the tin rattlers back out at Whitten Oval.
