I feel for Ange here.

As an outsider I feel like he still deserves more time but it tends to be the beginning of the end for a manager when this starts happening.

They've had a horrid run with injuries, think the fans are being a bit harsh.

After the success he had with Forest I don't see that being the case. He'll be one of the new Allardyce/Pardew/Dyche.
Does one successful stint carry more weight than one terrible one?

The argument can be made either way. Might be that he was only successful at Forest due to that being the right fit (Adkins at Southampton for example) and that he'll struggle to replicate that anywhere else.

What terrible stint has he had?

If he goes out in the QF against United he'll be in serious trouble.

We've got liverpool and Chelsea ready to belt us. Very likely we'll be 12th-14th by Xmas and just the EL which we may not automatically qualify for the R16 for.

As for the injuries, some of it is self inflicted.

The one he just got sacked from?

Where he had you outside the relegation zone? From a results perspective he didn't fail. His association with Forest and style of play is what got him turfed which is bizarre as both were factors your owners knew going into hiring him.

Getting sacked 13 games into a season is obviously a disaster. No matter how you try and spin it.

He should never have been hired, it was clear to everyone. It's not just Cooper's fault but this won't improve his chances.

We'll wait and see where he ends up but I've got strong doubts it'll be in the Premier League.

Anyone that think this is the solution has rocks in their heads.

I'm not trying to spin anything, I'm trying to explain why he will continue to get interest from PL clubs and why he is being linked to West Ham - despite the fans obviously not being keen.

Look at his PL record - why should he continue to get interest?

Like I said, any owner that looks at that record and thinks that's the solution has rocks in their head.

Taking Forest up and keeping them up, and having you out of the relegation zone despite your lack of investment are positives for a lot of club owners either looking for a firefighter or someone who can operate on a tight budget.

No team in the PL is going to belt you under normal circumstances. Maybe in a one off. Let's not forget you just belted City 4-0 away.

Think most teams with their two cbs and gk out would struggle. Plus they have poor depth with 18yos Gray and Bergvall who are promising but not ready yet
We dropped points before the injuries hit too

Injuries are a convenient excuse. Instead of taking 1 point from 9 against Leceister, Ipswich and Newcastle (when dominating) we took 7 points. They were dropped with relatively strong sides, or in the Ipswich case, against Ipswich at home. He'd be under no pressure because we'd be 4th not 10th

And the Romero and VDV injuries are on his mismanagement of the squad. Overplays Romero because he doesn't trust our 3rd choice CB.

Game style and training methods blow up explosive players hamstrings at this level. Odobert and VDV can't get on the park. VDV two years running. Richarlison too.

It's not solely on Ange, but his fitness staff, training methods and game style two seasons running have created serious injury crisis.

Been a tight season. Some of those games just didn’t take chances. Dropped games they shouldn’t have definitely I think you don’t have great depth. On other side thrashed Villa, Man U and City. Best City twice in a month.

Levy won't care for the nearly and should be. If we are out of the league cup and bottom half by Xmas, I don't think he stands a chance.

There was a good 6-10 points dropped playing well with a relatively fit squad that would be the difference between being 13th at xmas or being 6th. And for Ange being in or out of a job

I’m watching far more Spurs that’s is should so maybe it is time for Ange to leave ;)

This morning's commentator said maybe Ange's style suits playing against the better teams. That didn't really make sense to me.

I'm not sure you can blame the injuries. The line ups when they thrashed City and lost to Bournemouth were almost the same. They are poor at defending set pieces with Vicario quite weak but I don't think Forster was at fault for the latest goal.

On a scale of 1-10 of harshness of sackings it would be about a 6 or 7. Similar to Potter at Chelsea, who ironically i think will be who we line up next
