I think they have lost when the have 'gained' Byrnes, Rodan, Gillies and Pedersen for some more 'experience'.

Surely those 3 would be providing more than that quartet they brought in.
If Moloney was producing at current levels and not what he did when disgruntled last year, yes. Baffling choices all of those, when one of them has played most of his career in the VFL.

Staggered Neil Craig was appointed senior advisor, staggered he is caretaker coach.

I've been consistent on this.

Neil Craig showed he was unable to engage a young (hello) crows list, was incapable of arresting a rapid decline on field, of the 9 losses out of his last 11, they suffered a 96 pt loss to the demons and a 103 pt loss to the saints that saw him resign.

How he was a good fit for Neeld or the demons, I have no idea.

The young list was not engaged, and they got spanked, not much changed.

Probably a great footy person, but we tend not to read use by labels in this industry.

Neil's would read "keep for 7 years after opening"

Now Lloyd says on footy classified "hope NC lets them play with flair and instinct" which for mine sums up what sando did at the crows once he left.

Neeld needed someone very different

For his sport science maybe?

Same reason Neeld will probably pop up elsewhere though, if they want to stay in the system the coaches seem to find a job elsewhere.

Neil Craig may have learnt a lot from his time at Adelaide.

Not saying you are not right but i think Neil Craig gets a bit of a raw deal when people look at his time as a head coach. He was far from awful

His impact is still being felt. I truly believe that. I understand you feel the need to jump to his defense as he's on your list. Make no doubt about it though...the guy has a terribly misplaced ego. This tweet highlights just to what extreme, but it was well known he had one well before this. Speak to some of the more honest Melbourne players if/when you get a chance.

Is this thread about Moloney or is it about Neeld?

Don't deflect from the issue at hand, which is your club again has waste a couple of years and a plethora of draft picks and AFL money, and again are asking for assistance, your list is absolutely shite, apart from a handful of semi-decent AFL standard players you have nothing, your culture is rubbish and the club is run by a 'Boys club', the MFC is a cancerous FC at the moment and what ever is causing the issue is still there.

I think that the Boys Club is over. Cameron gone. Lyon nowhere to be seen. AFL appointed CEO. The boys club has had their day and failed miserably and I doubt they will get to have much influence again.

Clearly it won't be for long.

Imagine if this was Melbourne’s side today.

MELBOURNE
B: Colin Garland, James Frawley, Alex Johnson
HB: Dayne Beams, Harry Taylor, Colin Sylvia
C Gary Rohan, Scott Selwood, Dan Hannebery
HF Dustin Martin, Chris Dawes, Nat Fyfe
F Lewis Jetta, Jack Darling, Sam Reid
R Nic Naitanui, Nat Jones, Pat Dangerfield

I/C: Jack Newnes, Luke Parker, Mitch Clark
Sub: Aaron Davey

All of these players could be playing for Melbourne this weekend! Don't blame Mark Neeld for everything!
