No way.

Literally every neutral friend i know reinforces.

The swans look more potent sans buddy.

Buddy. For better or worse just gets so much directed at him.

The cats defence is strong but slow.

well if your neutral friends say so....

Buddy would have kicked 5 or so tonight though, he didn't get the easy one like Armatey and co picking up basically a raffle against no one.

If he misses next week and they all fire , different story, but they haven't yet

But maybe they do keep the same, then leave Hayward out too

My concern is Armatey won't run out the game v the cats

Funny game to be at.
First quarter the crowd was into the game and then after that it was a procession.
I’ve been to a few games where the Swans have belted teams. The early GWS games were one sided but they showed more spirit than the Eagles. Eagles are hit hard with injuries but they play as a individuals.

A win is a win.
That was a nice win to watch.

One person said in the other thread that to maye the eight we need a lot to go our way. Like other sides losing. Ok, that is true of every side. But the reality is we are 1 win away. Beat Cats next week and we are in.

Yes, it takes Crows to lose. But even if we are not in next week if w keep winning we are always a chance. This is an observation by an ex coach. He was right. Our early season form was ok but when our Captain Coach went down we seemed to lose momentum and lost 3 games straight. But he got us back on track and before our club knew it was had all 3 Divisions playing finals.

The Seniors were 4th out of a top 4. We were expected to get flogged in the First Semi Final. But we didn't. We won every game including the Grand Final

This is one of those games where you probably can't read that much into individual performances. Anybody could have had a blinder against this opposition.

But it was great to see us playing with some killer instinct. I fully expected us to coast after half time but we buckled down and arguably lifted our intensity.

So I think the big thing to take from this is psychological. I still don't see us doing any damage in finals, even if we scrape through. But it's the sort of performance that hopefully stands the playing group in good stead in years to come. Feeling that feeling of total domination, of tearing the opposition to pieces. That's the big thing I hope we take away from it.

Performance meant nothing, the result could mean everything. Depends how we process and respond to it over the next 7 days. The boys looked very restrained singing the song and there wasn't much carrying on considering it was a historic night. Makes me think the leaders would've been keeping them grounded throughout.
