The rules are the rules Kate, you can’t go changing them when they suit you.
And they’ve been the rules since 1951

"I know it's home-and-away wins and losses, and I know I'll cop this because I'm a Brisbane Lions fan and I'm one-eyed, but I find it really strange that you can have two teams potentially win the premiership in a calendar year, still not win the trophy."

It’s always been a trophy thats awarded for the best performing club during the home & away season, not a finals trophy.

Kate must have been really perplexed when Collingwood won it in 1970 despite none of their sides winning a flag that year.

It’s good they have a 9 day break ahead of the final h & a game to refresh. They were looking pretty tired. Like everyone has been saying the compressed part of the fixture has impacted all of the aflw teams this year.
Tiger will play in Darwin under similar condition to us in Cairns. Two days less rest.

Yeh that Melbourne game looked like a real struggle. Couldn't get our game going at all in the last half. Also, playing in Cairns is absolutely sapping
