And more often than not it works in our favour. The media cycle goes like this:
Crows lose a couple of games, it's time the end of the world as we know it, they win one, all is good again, they win two in a row and they are flag favorites.
Then they read their own press and they lose games again and so the cycle starts again.

This will just make it sweeter when they lose their next two and miss the finals. Then the pensioners who have saved the above banner headline for posterity will instead use it as bumwipe.

The very real danger now, though, is that they could finish in a 7-12 position like us and despite having a better year could get one of their soft draws again, possibly even softer than ours with their mate Gil presiding.

The only reason he wouldn't reveal news is if it was bad news about the Crows and he was pulling a 5aa.
When Sanderson was sacked 5aa were pussyfooting for 2-3 hours about wanting to confirm and they only came out with the news well after one of the VIC stations beat them too it.

When Crows news that is detrimental comes out Roo is always conspicuously absent/sick.

Watch it happen the morning Dangerfield announces leaving, he wont be on TripleM for a week.
