100%

It is not rocket science

On field success = positive media

The girls showed that today
Think you may need to consider the appalling coverage of Fyfe and his second Brownlow. An individual award, beyond on field success, and consider whether their media coverage was something that should ever be acceptable.

Do you remember the article about Sandilands with a young south kid on his back?

It’s was in the Herald Sun but The West didn’t mention it.
Nah i don't, HUN exclusive?

Not everything has to be a conspiracy

Let the team have some sustained success and you will see change

The to hell and back series the Dees are putting out is fantastic. Some genuine behind the scenes footage.

Probably somewhat strategic to lure members back after last year.

I’m getting sick of the “How’s player x looking”, to which every interviewee responds “yeh really fit, he’s having a great preseason”.

And then putting up an article quoting the video.

Lack of sustained success shouldn't deter reporting on something positive and at the same time twisting negatives (Rioli..)

Need something positive to report on

Sustained success is an easy one

Like 2013 era

Just had a look at episode 2.
Found it interesting that the interview with Harley was all about his behaviour and dedication rather than his calf (from what they showed in any case).

Burgess is impressive, easy to see why he’s got the rep he has.

Langdon looking fit.

If their 2019 season was riddled with so many errors off the field and they’ve identified those and have fixed them, it’s easy to see them being a finals force again this year.

Richo got another job quickly.

Fremantle dockers draftee Caleb Serong learns lessons from living with skipper Nat Fyfe

Caleb Serong says he learnt a lot from living with Dockers skipper Nat Fyfe.

Prized Fremantle draftee Caleb Serong says he took a lot out of his time living with dual Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe when he first arrived in WA.
Serong and fellow top-10 selection Hayden Young roomed with their skipper for three weeks before Christmas and used the opportunity to pick his brain.
While he has since moved in with emerging ruckman Lloyd Meek, small forward Sam Switkowski and rookie Jarvis Pina, Serong gained a lot of knowledge from the best in the business.
“When I was living with Fyfey, it was really good to pick his brain and see the elite habits that he has and take a few of those away with me,” Serong told reporters this morning.
“It was really good living with him for those three weeks before moving in with a host family, Youngy and I.
“I’ve since moved in with a couple of boys now, Lloyd Meek, Sam Switkowski and Jarvis Pina, I moved in over the weekend so that was pretty good.”
Serong, a multi-talented athlete who juggled footy and cricket commitments before getting drafted, is relishing having a full pre-season under his belt.
He has played a mix of inside midfield and forward, batting it out alongside Fyfe and Andy Brayshaw in the engine room and defenders Young and Luke Ryan during last week’s intra-club match.
Fremantle’s Marsh Community Series opener is against Carlton in Mandurah on February 29.
Serong was trying not to look any further than Friday’s intra-club hit-out, but says he feels physically ready should a Marsh berth come his way.
“The more training you do, the better you're going to be as a player,” he said.
“So for me having that extra running and gym under the belt, compared to my previous years, that will definitely hold me in good stead and I'm really excited about what I can do hopefully this year.
“I'm really keen to have a hit-out Friday, a full game, and then I'll see how I go after that.”

26 minutes in and Ross is telling the Shane Mcinnes story, great listening.

Really showing how he felt Fremantle were being pushed around and shunted to Geelong, Great to see us fans being justified in thinking the same thing!

Yeh I seem to remember they just accepted and got on with it but inside the club they must have been fuming
