Barlow was on Footy WA last night, reflecting on Sumich's time when he was assistant coach of the Dockers and generally being positive. (EDIT: Barlow also thinks we'll be beginning another rebuild and Sumich would have a couple of years of leeway to bring through youth. A few weeks ago on another station he said with the loss of Hill, Langdon we'd be near the bottom of the ladder.)

That Morris story kind of paints McPharlin as a bloke who doesn't rate Sumich and lets him know about it, yet they've worked cordially on radio together. Luke doesn't seem like a person who sees things as black and white. Love Ross/ Hate Sumich.

The only person I've heard kick up a bit of stink about McPharlin being part of the interview process has been Hardie.

Nice highlights vid on AFL site of Fyfe's Brownlow year. Someone better techwise than me can share on here if they want.

Really shows that while he might be in close company with the other clearance specialist mids at the top of the Brownlow table, in extracting the ball, creating clearances, finding his own ball, and kicking his own goals too, none of them are in the same class aerially. It's a good reminder. Two marks over Dusty's head show he doesn't compete in the same class as Fyfe when the ball is above about 2m.

Pot is not as harmless as most people say. I have had family members and freinds lost to paranoid psychosis which was triggered by the harmless cannabis..it is a horrible sickness to see your loved ones suffer.
And yes it does not happen to everybody and they assume that people are most likely going to get it anyway but that is just a theory.
My experience with pot. It turned me into a lazy peice of shit and after using it for year I became depressed.
My life changed dramatically when I kicked the shit 25 years ago (along with the group of friends that came with the weed)

Many people smoke it and claim to be fine..and good for them. But there is no way I would risk my kids getting schizophrenia or depression by binging on the bongs.

I have a friend who never really grew up from high school who still sits around smoking bongs all day whinging he is depressed and has anxiety etc but won't give up the main factor fueling those issues (and others). The sad thing is The West are doing Willie a massive disservice with all these articles. Have effectively taken away his chance to come out and take responsibility for his actions.

The Eagles and West Coast media use “mental health concerns”to shield their players from the consequences of their actions (Rioli, Ryan etc) and yet when Jesse Hogan, a young guy who’s lost his father to cancer and immediately faced his own cancer battle (too much for most adults let alone a 20 year old kid) after being uprooted from his family at 17 years old, was absolutely brutalised by the West media for having too much to drink before a pre season training session. A two page spread of his supposed indiscipline and a 3 year old photo with his pants down. The slightest indiscretion from anyone associated with Fremantle brings down a sh*t storm of criticism and media humiliation. Mental health issues seem only to apply to Eagles personnel. I’ll say it again, The West are social media bully’s masquerading as journalists. There is not a drop of credibility or professionalism at that tabloid and any person or business that support Fremantle need to boycott that sham of a newspaper.
