If they test positive (assuming it is true), what would that mean for the comp? Obviously the rest of the players would have to go into quarantine as would the Eagles players if this player played on the weekend. With less than 14 days until our round 1 game, would we just have to forfeit?

Surely postponed. AFL definitely have to understand.
Very interesting to see how it plays on. They’ll have to determine when and where the player possibly met the person in question. The days after would be when they investigate

I love that article about Logue where he talks about his close relationship with Cox and what a smart player Brennan is.
He says they just need a look and a nod to decide who's doing what which bodes really well for a cohesive back 6.
So glad Logue looks like he's easily going to live up to his draft selection given he was a bit of a roughy.
If he stays fit he's going to be really good.

Something we have struggled with in the past. Interesting.

Club Statement:

The Fremantle Football Club advises that a player has been sent for precautionary Covid-19 testing after having contact with a friend who had been in China earlier this year.
The player has advised the club that after his friend returned from China the friend underwent a 14-day isolation period, as recommended by the Australian Government for all Australians returning from China.
The friend reported that they had suffered no flu-like symptoms during or after the isolation period.
The club was further advised that following the completion of the 14-day isolation period by the friend, which ended more than two weeks ago, the friend travelled to Perth and visited the player.
The player reported to club medical staff today that he was suffering flu-like symptoms and, as a precautionary measure and despite the fact that the friend had reported no flu-like symptoms, the player was immediately sent for testing and isolated.
The test results are expected to take 24-48 hours.
The club will provide a further update when more information becomes available.

Ultra cautious by the dockers. He ain't got it. But it won't be long before it starts spreading here. Just in time for winter too. Lol. The zombie apocalypse
Yep, setting the alarm as we speak. There’s about 5 Coles & Woolies within 20 minutes of me, need more poo tickets. Don’t know why, but I’m going to buy up as much as I can!

Wow This carona virus thing just keeps getting more real every day
If the footy season gets affected it will have to go down as the leading news story in my lifetime
Bigger than sept 11
It would be Such a Freo thing too if we are the club who sets it off 😂
Personally I’m not really worried about it
