He doesn't have to be signed as a marquee. He wouldn't cost the Club that much either.Because that's what the club will do, they need a big marquee to bring the fans in, Bruno hasn't re-signed yet but will likely be a marquee, with Mooy being our current marquee they'll replace him with someone of similar standing or higher, the current plan is for Caceras to be the Mooy replacement.
He'll come no doubt, but this bloke is as good as we'll find for the price tag he has.Don't forget about Luke Brattan likely incoming as well...

EDIT: just checked, he's on approx 100 thousand pounds a season...
If you think a 21 yo talented Pom is coming to the A League you need your head read. Would be a suicidal career move if he's any good. No chance. He doesn't have to be signed as a marquee. He wouldn't cost the Club that much either.
What about the Van Persie move next season? He and Bruno would be a great combo. Surely that would be a timely move for this stage of his career. Wonder if JVS can pull any strings there. If you think a 21 yo talented Pom is coming to the A League you need your head read. Would be a suicidal career move if he's any good. No chance.
No. We have 2 strikers already in Novillo and Bruno. Yes, Harry can play as a wide man, but wasting one of RVP or Bruno as a wide player would be stupid. If Mooy goes we need to go with someone who can play behind them. What about the Van Persie move next season? He and Bruno would be a great combo. Bruno the Boss.
Can still finish top is WSW lose and Victory beat Brisbane. Can still finish second if we win next week and WSW lose, but unlikely.
Ugh, supporting MV...Can still finish top is WSW lose and Victory beat Brisbane.
Agree, just play home games only.I swear we gotta get rid of the candy stripes. It's cursed.
Wouldn't rule out either Wellington or Brisbane dropping points tbh but yeh most likely scenario is we play the Mongs at Etihad.Win on Friday night and we likely finish 3rd as Brisbane should account for Victory and WSW likewise against Wellington. That would give us a "home" final against Victory at Etihad in week 1 of the finals. Yay.
Lose or draw and we probably finish 5th (assuming Perth gets over Sydney), having to return to Perth in week one of the finals. Double yay.
This has turned out pretty stuffed for us.
