Shane Woewodin.
Won a Brownlow one year then ended up playing in the WAFL seniors and reserves a few years later. Big fall.

Could name quite a few from Tasmania over the past 15-20 years that were baked potatos.
"Big names" over here, get drafted, get cut and come back here as "former AFL stars".

Woewodin won the Brownlow in 2000, played a year or two at the end of his career with East Fremantle (2007 I'm pretty sure)

One of the few players I can recall that spat the dunmmy with team mates as much as Richo.

Can remember when he was at Melbourne abusing a young player who passed the ball to another team mate instead of him during a game.

The two Brents, Stanton and Macaffer
Wouldn't place Stanton as average at all - had periods of playing very poor footy and periods of elite play.

Early 2012 for instance,
R1: 35 disposals (26 kicks), 7 marks, 5 tackles, 4 frees for, 2 goals
R2: 25 disposals (21 kicks), 5 marks, 5 tackles, 2 goals
R3: 20 disposals, 4 marks, 8 tackles (tagged by Harbrow)
R4: 36 disposals (28 kicks), 17 marks, 4 tackles, a goal
R5: 13 disposals (all kicks), 3 marks, 6 tackles, almost the match-winning goal (tagged by Clarke)
R6: 39 disposals (32 kicks), 17 marks, 8 tackles
R7: 36 disposals, 9 marks, 3 tackles, 2 goals (tagged by McGinnity)
R8: 29 disposals, 5 marks, 3 goals (tagged by Jackson)
R9: 27 disposals, 4 marks, 3 tackles, 3 free kicks (tagged by Scully)
R10: 23 disposals, 7 marks, 5 tackles (tagged by McKenzie)
R11: 19 disposals, 6 marks, 3 tackles (head-to-head with McVeigh)
R13: 28 disposals (20 kicks), 5 marks, 7 tackles (tagged by Mzungu)
R14: 29 disposals (20 kicks), 7 marks, 4 tackles

Slowed down later in the season as he just wore down from tags (I remember Cornes and Curnow doing excellent jobs on him) but that first half of the season was just about the best I've seen from a bombers midfielder since Hird - continuously racked up the disposals, marks, and tackles despite copping tags most weeks (maybe an overstatement but he was very good!). I think he had 14 Brownlow votes all up with most if not all of them in the first 8 weeks. All-up had decent seasons from about 06-08 and pretty darn good seasons from 09 to about 15 when he got banned, 2015 was just about his best season all-up as he was consistent all the way through instead of stopping in round 14 as above.

Fair call ,he was good when he was good.
