Rayden Tallis strikes me as being a good nomination for this.

Not terrible, not great, managed 163 games but due to Hawthorn's mostly mediocre fortunes during his career, never really played many big games.

More remembered because his name was Rayden and because Dermie stood on his head, than any other reason.

Adelaide must have the greatest percentage of 'average' players to have represented the club. They've had a few superstars, a few duds but a good 70% of their all-time playing list is made up of anonymous, interchangable, good, ordinary footballers.
Hence why we have been in that 4-8 mark moat years

I assume that is the less performed brother? One of them was actually ok. I can't remember if it were Troy or Justin.
Yeah, Troy was an almost utility that couldn’t hold down a spot consistently at Fremantle and Carlton. Remarkable for being unremarkable, I honestly can’t remember him ever playing.

Robert Haddrill.
I see your Robbie Haddrill and raise you his fellow defenders, Antoni Grover and Shane Parker.

How Parker held their games record is beyond me.

i reckon i’ve won this...

Jason Blake for the Saints... 219 games, about 15 really good ones, think he polled Brownlow votes once. started his career as an athletic, tall, defensive mid... settled into a back pocket, solid all throughout his career.

few would ever remember seeing him on a highlights reel
Played for way too long to be called average. Played about 15 seasons.
