I think so but a bit like Divincenzo did, he will probably want to join a contender who can give him minutes

If not GSW I think Miami is a good fit, especially if Caleb Martin is forced into the Lillard trade which I think he will be
He should just want to go to whoever can A) give him playing time and B) most money.

Risky going to a contender where you could just get benched 15 games in to the season

I feel nowadays the a) is more likely to be a contender then a middle range team for a guy like Bol Bol. The middle range team just sacked him so why go to the same spot?

We mourn the loss of Dantes father Cecil.

Cecil played in the 1982 NCAA final where players such as Michael Jordan, James Worthy, Sam Perkins and current assistant general manager for the Charlotte Hornets Buzz Peterson were lucky to have shared the court with him. Interesting that Buzz Peterson works for the hornets, insects that make a buzzing sound when communicating with each other. Ironic.

Cecil was a great of the North Melbourne Giants.

Such a loss, not just for his family but for so many in the basketball community. Had the pleasure of coaching with him, such a caring and sensitive man. Enjoyed every minute of the time we spent together. So glad that he passed knowing that Dante had made it back to the Show. He so loved that boy.

I don’t think it necessarily needs to be about being at a better or worse team, just a team that is needing a big. The bonus to a rebuilding team is they are going to be more willing to persist through the growing pains than a team trying to contend.

I don’t think the Warriors are a terrible shout. Just think he needs to prioritise getting game time over anything at his age.

I could see him fitting into the transition game Nick Nurse likes to play

Why would Bol Bol be the same? He's 3 seasons in and earned $6M. He will go to whoever offers him money. He's young and needs opportunities to play. It may end up being a contender, but it would just be by chance than anything else.

Common sense I think is Atlanta want Grant Williams for cheaper then Collins so just give Boston what Utah gave them for Collins

Williams probably wants a 4 year 100 mill deal though since he is deluded but probably just needs to take 3/40 and move on with his life

I wouldn't mind calling a bluff on this one, matching a decent contact puts Boston's payroll deep in the 2nd apron.

I wouldn't mind maybe 3/45. But most Hawk's fans think Quinn wants to use Jalen Johnson in PF due to his versilitilty. Just his 3pt shooting is not good enough on small sample. We don't really have enough minutes for Williams plus JJ, Bey, Hunter, AJ, Boggy, DJM spread over the non Trey & Capella positions. Now I've annoyed myself listing all the talent we have that isn't working.

Seems like Pascal Siakam could be heading for a trade. Hasnt publically announced it but their is a rift between him and rest of the playing group it seems. It wouldnt surprise me if Atlanta move on the glut they have at SF for him with Deandre Hunter being the main cog in the deal

100% agree with this.

Imsurprised ujiri wants to use Siakim in a package for Dame rather than team him up with Dame.

ESPN's Zach Lowe also suggested Wednesday on NBA Today that the Celtics could hypothetically package Malcolm Brogdon, Robert Williams III and draft picks in exchange for Lillard.
We would be flying further into the red in terms of tax.

Whilst Stevens has been given the green light to spend, I dont even think Wyc would be happy to paying 10 of millions in Luxury taxes for Lillard.

Only way we get Lillard is to give Brown.

This does nothing for Celtics.
That was probably one of the best deals we could’ve had for him.

Not much of a loss let’s be honest.

Don’t know what he provides for the Mavs, the mavs need size but go for an undersized 4.

But I wish him the best in Dallas.

I wish him all the best too. Can't knock back the bloke after we only offered just over 8 mill..

Williams is getting 4/53 ... might be closer to $13m. Not sure how it works if they traded him under the qualifying offer or it is a sign & trade.
Sign and trade I believe

Thybulle to sign an offer sheet with the Mavs. That would be a nice fit, particularly with Bull-ock leaving
Terrible career move for Thybulle though. If he wants his next contract to be bigger he probably needs to take more then 2 shots a game

For Grant Williams he got more then he deserved but I think Utah will have bumped that interest up. He defends taller then he is but not great on the boards. Feel like they now need to find a C that feasts on the defensive boards and that can pass the ball a bit. No idea who that is going to be though
