Its a 50/50 proposition because of the overpay. I thought he would get like 2/16 type deal

Dont like that deal at all for Mavericks. They are basically hamstrung 100% with this lineup as none of the contracts they signed people too are movable

I actually like most of the Mavs moves this off season, they are showing they are in to trying giving Luka the best possible team with their limited resources and trade capital, to go all in for a chip.

I cant see Grant Williams hoisting the trophy in the air with triumph as Dallas 3rd best starting scorer im afraid. Its sideways move to get them from 9th to 7th if you ask me. They should have waited for one of the many PG FA this off season and then used a draft stack to trade in a 3rd star of some sort.

I feel like Van Vleet and Siakam duo would have been perfect for them alongside Doncic for example as opposed to Irving/Grant Williams/

It's risky play (agent telling clubs he only wants to play for Miami).

Miami's offer is considerably less than what Spurs got for Murray...

But clubs aren't going to offer big deals for a bloke who doesn't want to be there.

I reckon he will stay or start the year season in Portland
Can he or his agent get a fine?

Also does anyone know if this has ever happened before? I can’t remember a similar situation

I hate modern players... Chooses to extend his contract an extra 2 years and now 'warns' teams not to trade for him after demanding a trade.

A grade bitch behaviour

Basically, held Portland to ransom with the huge extension and then not requesting a trade until after the draft

Gutless

Gabe Vincent will wear number 7 for the Lakers. Last worn by Troy Brown Jr (who bolted to the Wolves) Carmelo, McLemore, McGee.

With Mo Bamba signing a 1 year deal with the 76ers, number 12 has been recycled and presented to T Prince.

Cam Reddish is hoping to realise his potential in LA whilst donning the famous number 5. Steve Blake brought toughness in this storied jersey. Malik Beasley wore it last year.

Harsh. Defensive hard nosed player. Who before pissing off Butler was lauded for his intensity and versatility. Not to forget being "batman" for restricting Jokic in a game, which was eaten up by his fans.
I don't think it has been harsh when you go off in one game 7 because the bucks didn't bother to defend him then ride that game into the whole of the next season to the point you spoke your confidence into existence then in one game took your own confidence away by taking shit to Mitchell saying you're going to make both of them and don't make a single one speaks volumes itself his words were bigger than his actions.

He was barely played in the finals and we were one game away from making it back to the finals.

He isn't a big loss which is all i said.

I am sure rules stop it but i would love the NBA to be able to slap him with a huge fine and block any trade to the Heat.

Nice trade assets LeBron has for next season LOL

Thoughts and prayers for tyler herro. Miami deem him expendable, Portland dont want him
I think he is grossly underrated.... but he has been injury prone too mind you

At this stage if im Portland id probably look at a trade market for Simons instead to then keep Herro. Maybe Simons will attract more value?

All in all though I think Portland dont have much of a reason to trade him yet. I think waiting til the season begins is the best thing. If they wait til the season begins I expect Caleb Martin comes part of the deal and also Nets may be more and more desperate to offload Ben Simmons and add some more picks to it

I think Ben Simmons + Martin + 5 1st rounders for Lillard is a good deal really

Pretty petty on his part tbh.

When other teams could offer better deals than Miami.

I agree with that package.

More picks the better.

For portland to think they want an adequate star back in return is stupid. Take some back contracts and as many picks as you can get from Dame and rebuild like that. Why ask for a star when you're not even in playoff contention let alone play in contention either.
