I think they went with something topical in 1991 and it said Hammer Time

Close - "It's Showtime"

and interchanges to half-time? I think it was 1 (Anderson for Jarman? late in the second quarter)

Andy Collins (who was the 20th Player) came on, for first time in game with about 5 mins to go in 3rd quarter....

Were you at the 88 or 89 games, AH?

You bet I was. I always recall 1988 because of those horrid plastic red pitch forks they were selling. I was getting hit and stabbed by them, and let me tell you, those things were quite sharp!!! Mind you, when the game started, so did I, and everyone left me alone after that :)

1989, a classic. At 3/4 my mates were saying we would win by 10 goals, I was saying we could still be in a bit of bother. Unfortunately, I was right, but when the siren went, I was more pleased to have won a classic than another whitewash like in 1983, 86, and 88.

89 was magnificent. We were guests of Channel 7 (I think) and had tickets in some superbox or something, but my old man and his mate wouldn't have a bar of that - not the way to spend a Grand Final in their eyes - but there were commitments they had to keep.

So we attended a network pre-game function at the Hilton, then went down into the rooms pre-match, before making a fleeting appearance at the corporate box before slipping out to other seats that had been arranged in the outer. Dad's mate joined us just before half-time.

It was freakin' glorious. You can keep all that corporate hospitality - sucking Crownies with a bunch of dispassionate, privileged drones - because it doesn't compare with being in the outer. It was the most intense match I've ever been to.

But I digress, where in the quiz are we up to?

Ok Here's another relatively easy one who did Dermie replace in the 1982 final against North

Gary Ablett Snr.

He kicked 5 goals out at Arctic Park. I was there. My grandmother said of Dermies maiden performance, "that young man will be alright"

Not the right answer grizz but granny was right in hindsight

What was the Illness that Alan Jeans had when Alan Joyce took over in 88

Something with the brain.

From memory either a tumour had to be cleared or I think bleeding on the brain. Serious enough to ground him for the whole year.

Brain dead here, mate. I refuse to google it, I'm trying to work it out in my head. So far I've got this:

> Brereton wore a different number
> There were like 4 or 5 named on the bench
> Moncrieff was the full forward but I think was injured

Another *so called* easy one. There was something noteworthy about one of Michael Tuck's premiership years. (Apart from winning the cup.) What was it?
