The Obligatory "easy one" which premiership player came to hawthorn after refusing two other clubs that drafted him and then went on to play for another club. Trying to make this as opaque as possible :D

From memory both Byrne and Morris made their debuts against Footscray.

I was there in 1982 as a 9 year old to watch Michael Byrne kick 8 goals vs Footscray out at Waverley in a 100 point thrashing. aah those were the days :)

Morris debuted against Sydney. Played against Doggies in Rnd 2.

Definitely Jarman. He was drafted by Melbourne (86), then Brisbane (89), before coming to Hawthorn for pick 10 (to Bris).

Yep to all above i purposely left out the other information to make it a lil difficult lol

Did morris have a MO as good as byrne's at the end of his career?

Only played in one premiership

Played for more than one club.

OK, since its late, and there is no new question from TheFourPillars, I will slip one in.

How many sets of brothers are premiership players at Hawthorn and who are they?

I know two, Paul and Greg Dear and Leigh and Kelvin Matthews
also the father and son Peter and Paul Hudson

Hawks Premiership Player Darren Jarman is linked to Norwood FC through his brother Andrew who played there and won a Mcgeary Medal for them in 1997.

Correct .. although it's Magarey Medal :)

Unfortunately the other two may be a little too obscure, so if it's not answered soon, I'll give the answer.

Okay, the other two are:

Graham Arthur's father Alan who coached Norwood in the late 1930s.

1961 premiership rover Jack Cunningham's son John who played in Norwood's 1997 premiership team, and also won the Jack Oatey Medal for the best player on the field.

And easier question: How many day time premierships did Michael Tuck play in with Hawthorn?
