One of the reasons I'm not interested in the IPL (apart from keeping an eye on the West Aussies) is scorelines like this.
Might as well have someone feeding a ball machine at one end and every side picks 11 batsmen who just tee off.

Yeah it's gotten really bad this season, I'll likely lose interest unless some semblance of balance between bat and ball returns.

Surely the impact sub gets scrapped after this season and that forces teams to be a bit less attacking. It's effectively given teams an extra bat.

Lucky for Starc KKR look like definitely playing finals, so he’ll get a chance to redeem himself somewhat. Not a big fan of him personally, but I’d love to see him justify his contract in a big moment during finals.
Stoinis performing at the backend of a tournament to justify his spot? No, never.
At least Lucknow is still in contention unlike the Stars

Much like that ODI blinder he played against NZ several years ago, this will probably guarantee him a spot in the Australian T20 side for the next 5 years.

Feels like T20, or at least this year’s IPL, is moving way too much in favour of batting. It’s crazy seeing a target of 261 get chased down with relative ease.
