Scorchers women? I get why they had their junior 'Fan Day' yesterday now!

Didn't fall for that. rather take the son to watch to watch the record setting men's one day side. As a bonus in and out faster than a 20-20 anyway.

Is the love for Bazball turning?

Yesterdays Sunday Times had a number of telling articles.

Sport Section - P2 - Chief cricket writer Simon Wilde article headed 'Stokes must regain belief as Bazball hits crossroads'.

And on P3 Alastair Cook wrote an article that talked about England batting...
'Most England batsmen lack the background or the technique for dogged defence'.
He then discussed Ben Duckett specifically.
'when he got out leg before, trying to defend in the second innings, it was like watching a tailender with the position he got himself into.'
Basically argues that England have now got themselves in a position where they are so bad at defence, they have to attack. Even when it costs matches.
