I am personally stoked.

Collingwood is a club I can get behind.

They are a battler. A slum club that sticks the finger up, much like a slaughterhouse that sticks the finger up at the establishment.

I remember in the 90's, the days of the Friday night where the King and the Roos owned the roost. I used to go on my own, served a lot of shit amongst the Pie faithfull surrounded outnumbered and abused.

But at the end of the game it was pats on the back and grudging respect.

Nobody has ever done that, before or since, in my experience.

Respect.

Happy for Levi, even happy for Chris Mayne as he has been laughed at by every football follower south of the Equator. Gonna laugh about Lolmond for a day or few. Did Caddy play tonight?

18 teams in a comp now with the talent spread enough that it takes a few players to fall back to the pack, and a couple to pinch one.

If we take some lessons out of the last couple of years with our end of season fades...you never know. Hopefully we land 3/3 this off season.
Well said. It highlights that a team needs to get fully behind a gameplan and work their arses off for one another.

Richmond and Bulldogs played to their strengths. Collingwood have done it this season. Teams are really going for that 1 key forward + a mid sized forward (riewoldt + caddy, cox and de goey, boyd and stringer)

How the **** are Collingwood a battler with the Lexus Centre or whatever it’s called now?

The are as much a bunch of silvertails as Melbourne are.

Slum club that sticks it up the establishment? Pigs ****ing arse. They are the ****ing establishment.

And anyone that went to Vic Park will attest to how disgustingly racist their supporter base has been.

My 2nd cousin got drafted to them last year and I still hate the campaigners.

Nah.

If you understand about the origins of your club, you know that there is a grudgingly corresponding respect.

Thats why I can never hate them the way I do in the same way I do against a middle class protto establishment like The Scum or the Mayflowers.

Big Cox was pretty good tonight. Did what he had to do. Held his marks and kicked goals.

He won't ever turn a match but when he is on form like tonight his team are getting great value from his output.
No question. I doubt anyone predicted the turn around. He looked like a fringe player / delisted at the end of last year.
