Roosters fans after tonight
This is what has me worried...watching the reply it looked okay...but when it's a grand final with us involved.....expect the unexpected
And with certain media campaigns

Grade 3 4 weeks.
Kidding the guy lis literally standing .
If jwh played after putting a guy in a headlock and they say all good...and that's 4 weeks....game is officially bonkers

He didn't drop his shoulder - Collins dropped his knees and crashed into him. I think he is ok but you have to factor in the NRL hatred of Storm.
Bingo bingo gokangas....no way it's the 4 weeks they are offering...games officially cooked if that's what they think....for a guy that gets shoved by he's team mates, and is dead set standing. If Collins wants to dropp knees and rush in with his head ....end of...
Grade 1 Max....

Today it was the Swans who showed how far off we are. You can have Academy benefits, be destination club, have stars everywhere and be the league's golden child - we are none of those. But if you are all that but are mentally scarred, and melt in the hottest kitchen, you win shit.

There's some Swans blokes whose reputation took a real hit today as becoming multiple Grand Final busts. Heeney, Papley, Gulden, Hayward and Blakey will have nightmares for some of their efforts and performance in 2022 and 2024. You can't trust them on this stage.

We have none of these nightmares as a burden…except for the Filth comeback and Rd 23 and 24 shit show..otherwise all good 😊

Chances are they'll still win another soon.

7GFs in 19 years, they are built to be contending virtually every season.

If you a getting a look in every 3 years you are bound to jag one eventually.

Maybe. Who knows? The Swans played today's game like the Colliwobbles of the 70s and early 80s and the Kitty Jitters of the early 90s - as if they didn't believe they could win from the outset, and scarred by 'scary' Grand Finals. Collingwood and Geelong only overcame that by stopping playing in Grand Finals for a while and coming back with new, unburdened teams.

My prediction is that this core group of Swans will contend again, but never salute.

The current Swans give off heavy 80s and 90s Geelong vibes - some genuine superstars weighed down by a bottom 6 who are colossal spuds. It's like they go into Grand Finals resigned to their fate and collectively sh*t the bed.

Like you note, it will probably require generational change before they get the Grand Final monkey off their backs.

True. Yet it's the stars who've shat the bed and spuds like Fox and Melican have been OK

After all the hype Heeney got last week, fair to say Dunkley completely towelled him up in centre square work especially

But Heeney was injured

Yea Right GIF

And I think it's fair to say, Dunkley gave an exhibition on why a big bodied mid is an important part of the mix. 191cm and 87kg - 11 tackles in the GF (nearly double anyone else on the ground), two centre clearances, 10 contested positions (equal fourth on the ground).

Sure the mids like Neale are quality users, but the likes of Dunkley let them get to work.

We need one.

Would love to know Joe's reasons for retiring. Finally got his body right, and he walks away from a contract and successful side.

He's a different sort of unit, wouldn't be surprised if he's content with a flag and wants to get on with a more normal life.
