The hits keep coming at the Dees:

Demons’ Joel Smith hit with career-ending ban over drugs

Melbourne’s Joel Smith has been hit with a career-ending, four-year ban for cocaine use and trafficking, with at least four of his teammates understood to be sweating on the outcome of his investigation.
4 years for sharing a bit of gear with his pals is harsh. Career ending punishment.

If he was a Collingwood player he'd be off with a mystery ailment and the detective would be in a bodybag.

The positive match day test is what has ****ed him.

Nice rod the AFL made for it's own back. Now an Umpire suspended for one round for going as Osama Bin laden to the umpires end of season get together (the day after the grand final).

Yet players got 2-4 matches.

Gotta love AFL consistency.

Because wearing an inappropriate costume and simulating sexual assault in a skit aren’t the same.

2 players dressed up in costumes "related to the world trade center attack" in skits.
Would have thought that's at least comparable to dressing up as the guy who fronted al qaeda

“McMullin and Hamilton simulated the September 11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center”.

Simulating the attack is the step further then just the costume.

For all the inconsistencies of the AFL, I don’t believe this to be one of them.

Adelaide has unveiled a bold new logo.

The new design features a nod to the Club’s heritage by reverting to the original ‘swooping’ Crow and the sharpened claws, beak, eye and wing bring a modern look, which is supported by a return to the original bolder colours being a darker navy blue, richer red and deeper gold.

WOW, some truly Creative Minds came up with that one.

I think I created something similar on Logo (it was a design programme, sort of) back in about 1982 when I was in Primary School.

On your Commodore 64?
I think it may have been an Apple II+. It was at Primary School, I remember the school had one Computer teacher (and two computers to share between 25 students ) who would alternate between the two year 5 and 6 classes and for about 2 or 3 hours each week we would learn the basics (and back in 1982 it was very basic) about computers and computer programming. The one programme I remember using was Logo which was a graphics based programme that would teach kids basic design and command skills.

At home, my dad bought Commodore VIC-20 (the precursor to the 64) back in 1981 that we upgraded a few times before moving to the 64 in about 1986.
