Considering these dates are almost a week old so with the club back in training hopefully we start getting some more VFL news soon like a draw player movements to our club and potential Round 1 VFL side.

Are we sure it’s not Sam Linder from Sandy Dragons? Reckon it must be. He was captain of BGS as well. Only 178cm but great player. Tough as nails.

VFL are very impressed with both him and Sulzberger from Sandy.

Wynd was the one I was hoping would stay on, see a bit of potential there as a key forward if he can get an extended crack at it at VFL level.

He is a good footballer, but has had a pretty avg run with injury. Speedy half forward with nice skills. Had a fair few VFl games last year where he kicked multiple goals for box hill.

He is a good footballer, but has had a pretty avg run with injury. Speedy half forward with nice skills. Had a fair few VFl games last year where he kicked multiple goals for box hill.

He was probably lucky to get drafted. I don’t reckon too many other clubs would have had interest in him. Having said this he did have some decent games at VFL level for BH. If he can stay on the park he could be a great pick up.

I tend to agree with that. VFL is probably his level...Probably a player in the same sort of vein as Blake Drury, on the shorter side with no obvious traits that would make him an AFL player.

I just asked a former coach of Hawthorns Jack O’Sullivan and he replied “Different, deep thinker” LOL. He was a recent coach too.

Of the guys we've retained you'd think that only Downie or Butler would be in the conversation.

Macpherson probably makes the most sense considering his experience.
