OC is a poor man's Dawson Creek.

Do yourselves all a favour and get the Box Set of Dawsons Creek in December.

It makes the O.C. look amateurish.

I would have expected a least a 'flashback' of the funeral. Agree - I just hope they moved on from Marissa.

Tayla is freaking hot:cool: :thumbsu: She's now my number 1 on the show! Although wouldn't ming putting a deposit on a lay-by for Caitlin to be collected in 5 years!

Why wait that long?

Taylor is currently battling for my #1 with Summer. Summer's winning, but only just.

One Tree Hill is rubbish. Chad Michael Murray's acting is SO bad.

One Tree Hill is better than the OC there is no doubt about it..., It suffered from shocking timeslots and very little time to prove itself, let me tell you if it had the Regular Tuesday 8.30 Slot that the OC has it would rate equally well possibly better... Rather the Characters better in One Tree Hill as well...

Hell yes. You can have caitlin, Il just have Taylor now ;) .

The episode the other night, was a bit of a shock.....Ryan's father?!?! This should be some interesting viewing, and Summer and Seth, engaged - whoa! Its not on next week...was this for sum sort of Xmas break or what? It should be a kick@rse episode.

I knew Summer was not pregnant but thought they could have done something a lot better for the engagement. Ryan's father is the thing that I am intrigued about.........nice twist

I just finished watching season one of One Tree Hill, and I have to say that it was so much better than season three and season four, so far. The characters were so much deeper, the storylines were so much more realistic, everyone was so much more likeable-- I think it was done perfectly and in a way in which Mark Schwahn was having fun writing, whereas these past two seasons have been desperate attempts to grab ratings with shock value. It's sad to see this show regress, because if it would have continued to stay on par with season one, it could have easily topped The O.C.

But with music tours and married teenagers and clothing lines and stalkers and murderers-- it's turned into an absolute sobfest. The O.C. did take the same route as One Tree Hill, sadly. But I'm glad to say that The O.C. has fixed its' errors, whereas One Tree Hill is still relying on the unbelievable.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the OC was officially cancelled in the last couple of hours (Fox, who screened it in the US, are not renewing the contract). The final episode ever will be shown in the US late Feb, so we will see it at a similar time.

I am not surprised in a way but would have liked them to go for another season. The whole Kirsten's abortion storyline looks like it will never be resolved...........

yep its tru it has been cancelled. the storylines were becoming way unrealistic. its a shame i suppose, i think reality shows have destroyed tv as a whole.

Maybe so but the quotes from Schwartz (the producer) seemed to indicate that they were kinda happy to end on a high note. I would like it to happen but I doubt it.

It may have been unrealistic, but seriously cmon, what American shows are realistic?? Not happy that its being axed, as it was something to look foward to on an otherwise boring Tuesday night, I guess the cinemas will get a few more bucks from me in the future! :(
