Lol come to where i live and you can see a wild bear do that every day.. Also that "hand wave" is not friendly and certainly not what you think it means.

First we got gators pretending to be a person drowning so they can eat unsuspecting rescuers and now we got bears waving at people...makes me wonder what's in the water!
