And I don't care for this very important thread going off-track.

Back on topic please.

In news that will please RasiakKnocksItIn, Grzegorz Rasiak has been linked to Charlton in a 2 million pound deal.

not my fault.

I made one harmless comment then a do-gooder wannabe put his two bobs in.

I think I post more than enough quality on here to indulge in copy and paste humour every now and then.

last I'll say on it - but I'd advise do-gooding lovelies to keep their traps closed.

----

as for the league table - recently posted.

I didn't actually realise Stoke were doing so well. Probably the only team (Southampton aside) who's results I keep an eye on/remember. And I don't think 'we' have won for 2 or 3 games - and I only remember Stoke being 4th or 5th before. So I don't really know what's happening.

Be great to see Stoke promoted - all bandwagoning aside - and being serious - as a neutral it's always refreshing to see teams who haven't been in the Premiership for a long while make it there. and more specifically - teams who since I've been actively following the league haven't been amongst the 20 elite.

Charlton are down to 10 men so I'd be disappointed if we can't push on and get the three points.

We had an extra man for 60 minutes, did nothing with it, and then lost the match in the last couple of seconds in injury time.

Pathetic.

About time you Tykes! Was getting worried with some of our form over the past coupl of games. Nice to getback on the winners sheet. :thumbsu:

Looks like same old Sainters, hey Sainter.

albion are so hot and cold..for mine theyve got the best quality in this division, but often lack the bottle and consistency needed in the CCC..the fact watford have that will hold them in good position to go up

I like the Wolves atm for promotion. Michael Kightly is the best player in the league atm. Just on fire. Someone will snap him up in January surely. Id prefer him to Giles Barnes. Would cost like 6 mill youd think

Although he is without a win, Warnock is slowly turning things around. The dead wood is being sifted out and finally our youngsters are getting a go.

John Bostock at 15 years 288 days was our youngest ever debutant on Monday night against Watford, and followed up with another promising performance against Scampaignerhorpe last night. Arsenal and Barcalona are already sniffing around and Man U have put an offer on the table, hopefully we can keep the lad long enough to get back in the PL.

Saw a thing on him the other day, Warnock already saying that he wants him to hang around for a couple of years. Such a shame that a club like Palace (and plenty more like it) can't have any sort of expectation nowadays that you can bring a kid through the academy without being poached if he shows any sort of ability at all.

To his credit he seemed a pretty level headed kid, and spoke only of Palace and what he wanted to do there.

Pretty decent derby game in Norwich today. Pisswich went into the break leading 0-2, but Norwich were probably the better side. They've come out firing and it's now 2-2. Ipswich have just had one disallowed, there have been a few 50/50 decisions that will be spoken about by both managers after the game.

Norwich v Ispwich was a great match for the neutral. I was on the phone to my brother for the whole game and being a Norwich fan he went the full gamut. I thought they were unlucky not to win, they were the better side but for 2 woeful moments of defending. If they keep playing like that they should be able to get out of the mire.

Very entertaining match :thumbsu:

Norwich were very unlucky I thought, but after being 0-2 down they would be rapt with the draw.

Very good finish for Norwichs second goal.

Your kidding? Would definitely place some of my hard-earned on us missing the top 6 if we let him go.

Result against Charlton was typical for us, in fact I might start a CCC book - no 'dead certs' in this league.

Hopefully we can turn it around against Wolves, my boy will get a run as SJ is out with a concussion.

Four changes for Wolves - Rasiak in for John up front, Skacel in for Vignal (better crosses and better defensively), Euell in for Surman (bit of experience can't hurt in a must win game - especially as Idiakez is out) and Davies slots into defence to partner Thomas - moving Viafara back into the midfield - Dailly still playing that defensive midfielder role.. Im liking this line-up GB..:thumbsu:

Another pathetic performance by Saints. You could accept a 0-0 result if your team was at least attacking and creating chances but it sounds like neither team did that tonight.

gee, the Stoke game sounds/sounded entertaining.

hopefully we get to see them on the box this week.

I really hope they go up, for three reasons;

1. since I've been following the league they've never been in the top flight
2. their name. their ****ing name. stoke!! hahahahahahaha.
3. I'd have another team to support/bandwagon and could actively take an interest in the relegation race

I wouldn't mind if Southampton were to qualify behind Stoke (obviously) either. :thumbsu:

Beattie banging them in for Sheffield. 11 odd this season....... beats his tally of 2 goals for Everton last year, both penalties.:p
