All is right in the world. Nice work by the Stoke supporters there

Southampton have officially obtained "second team" status with me, at least you can't say you were bored Sainter! :D

Play-off spots are Hull, Bristol City, Palace and Watford. Right?

Bristol City and Watford are horribly out of form, which surely means after the way this season has panned out that it will be out of those two to go up.

AS IT STANDS (1550)
Promoted: West Brom, Stoke
Play-offs: Hull, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Watford
Relegated: Leicester, Scampaignerhorpe, Colchester

It wont happen because we're going down so I'm as grumpy as ____ & Nip's a Viler to boot.;)

Well done mate, we'll cross paths next season.

Stoke - just another reason to hate those ____ers.

:D

Very true.

I would have deleted it straight away anyway. ;)

Don't give up yet. You've got a winnable game and then it's out of your hands. Anything can happen on the last day and often does.

Don't worry, they'll have their one season, challenge Derby's record, and then be back grinding out painful 1-0 wins over the rest of us plebs. It'll be like nothing ever happened.

As much as it pains me to say it but congratulations, Sainter. Last day relegation scraps are fun, huh? :p

P.S. Hope ya go down next season tho. ;)

Thanks. :thumbsu:

You guys are in the FA Cup Final. Surely we can celebrate our measly championship survival.

How much have things changed in the last 5 years?

I want boring.

It's not over yet Ray. The team I most want to go down is Reading and how good would it be if they were relegated having lost to Derby on the last day? It's possible too. They are terrible at the moment.

Thanks. :thumbsu:

Been there done that...more than once over the years. It is a weird feeling to be so elated after spending most of the previous 9 months feeling so crap. It certainly is something to celebrate tho, much more interesting than mid-table anonimity at the end of the season, I reckon. :)

As fo the cup final it's great to be there but if we play like we have the last three games Cardiff may be in for a better day than most would expect.

Now that we've survived, I'd like to thank George Burley for almost sending our club into the third division and to my old mate Rupert Lowe for forcing the club into calling an EGM right IN THE MIDDLE of a relegation dogfight.

Nigel Pearson deserves the job as manager and hopefully as soon as we sort out the boardroom mess he can be signed. I'd have said the same thing if we went down too. He's brought back the spirit that had gone missing for so long.

I'm totally drained after that so I'm out of here. Good luck to the supporters of the teams in the playoffs and to the supporters of the teams in the premiership relegation battle. And even good luck to JB, Mr P@H, Camsmith and the other Pompey fans for the FA Cup final.

Gee Sainter, you were delirious with joy last night, weren't you? :p

I've always had a soft spot for the Saints and Owls so very happy both of them stayed up last night. :thumbsu:

Relief for Sainter (congrats) and relief for everyone that this board will be cranking again next season with the possible inclusions of a Brummie and some Leeds fans, maybe a Forest fan? and definately a Ram or two.

Cardiff do the usual midtable midiocrity bit well, and now turn to the FA Cup in two weeks...BRING IT!

Congratulations Sainter. Surviving is one thing but doing it on your own with a win and without any help is always the way to go.

In the end Leicester deserved to go down with their attitude towards the game. Played for the draw and tried to rely on Sheffield United. Playing 1 upfront was just crazy.

Gotta feel for Steve Howard and Matt Oakley. In 6 months they have gone from Prem league starters to League One players. How many players leading their teams goal scoring in the EPL have ended up relegated to League One
