Yes I posted that. Why not? If nothing else it would create a bit of fun around here. I think he will return to Geelong because they have a way of getting these things done. (And I won't talk about fruit and vegetable proprietors either SonofSamsquanch)

It would fly in the face of everything that the club has done list wise, but he probably has a couple of good years in him, barring injuries and on the right money, being not too much, he might help fill a mid field void while we get some experience into our younger players.

With missing out on Dusty, and with Kelly looking unlikely, Greene is the most desirable player of next years crop imo and should be our prime target.

The kid is a dirty sniper but he's a pure footballer and would be an absolute weapon for us playing alongside a developing Simpkin.

Obviously classy mids are what we need most. But with pick 4 and other options available to fit this need, then I can't see why Greene shouldn't be targeted.

We have enough dough to go for both Greene and Whitfield, but would be too difficult to trade for both. Greene easily the superior player and is a match winner.

I don't think many have had a crack at Phillyroo at all. Most are saying he needn't follow through on the account deletion, but just pay up the cash bets. I think that's reasonable, but if he has to leave, then let's hope in the future a poster named Phil E. Roo joins the board and provides us similar enjoyment.

Anyway, since the announcement yesterday there has been confirmation that Dusty had decided to come to North and only changed his mind this week.

Therein lies the bit that should have been heeded more - if you're going to bet on things like this, you're betting against someone changing their mind. And all the information in the world is not going to help you in relation to a decision that might change in the future.
