Tbh I think there's more to the Haliburton struggles than just New York's D.

I watched some of their opener against the Pistons live, and he was only attempting step back threes. Same thing today, he's not getting into the paint or distributing. Dunno whether it's physical or mental, but he's playing a completely different game compared to 12 months ago.
Lazy/unfit most likely

Lazy/unfit most likely

I really don't think it's laziness.

Much more likely to be psychological, pertaining to the injuries he had last season. Doesn't look confident in his ability to absorb contact, navigate the paint, jump off one leg, etc. To the naked eye looks to be playing conservatively.

I'm only basing this off their two games this season, and some residual memories from the latter part of last season. It could just be confidence. If they rest him a few games, it's physical. If they let him play through it, probably just mental.

I think it's his voice

Listened to a podcast that mentioned Tatums hot start (first game). He's playing with a chip on his shoulder, thanks to steve kerr and other factors. Listed a number of 26 year old who have excelled in the league at that age, winning chips, MVPs, scoring titles. Those included Dirk, Duncan, Kobe, Magic, Jordan. Tatums age? 26.

Very hard to find but I did find the quote when they found out his shoes were being made by child slaves

After this they found out MJ did infact go to China and see how the shoes were being made which is why he gave such a response

In any sense he isnt out on his own because he didnt play for long enough. Losing a few years of his career to suspension for match fixing takes him out of the discussion really
So what you're saying is that Jordan flies out to China to ensure his shoes are being made by child slaves and he was unfortunately suspended for match fixing??

No one can ever take you seriously after that 😂
Ok probably more 2-5 range.

I'm actually not convinced LeBron is the second best player of all time. What is it 4 championships in 21 years?

Magic won more in 12 years than LeBron has in 21. Kareem has two more MVP's and two more Championships than LeBron and Kareem also has a near flawless Collegiate and High School career.

Those two in particular are the arguments for me. But LeBron probably at worst is in the 4 spot.

Amazing how Embiid needs rest for back to backs, yet absolutely demolishes Simmons.

Wants to play in the Olympics but isn’t fit for Day 1? These contracts need to be based on games played. Disgustingly bad
I am not too sure what your point is here, he is injured? Not exactly sure if it was during the Olympics or during pre season but he isn't fit. It is bloody hard being 7 ft tall and the best part of 300 pounds while having a huge offensive load and also being one of the best defenders in the league.

It isn't like he is just deciding he CBF playing, he literally HAS to manage his body.
