I suppose if Sandilands is going to be rested Zac Clarke might get more of a run? He's only a touch more than Pyke, with similar average.
Not sure I can afford two trades in the rucks at the moment, but perhaps a cheap backup now (swap for Jacobs, or spend a little and lose Spencer), and leave Cox on the bench in case he comes back in time for finals?

I think you have to stop trading for bench cover JM. IMO, your 3 trades have to be saved for trading out Premium LTI - Premium. Bench cover is a luxury for you now.
If you are going to trade to deal with Cox then trade Cox.
If league wins are your priority now I'd wait at least a week and see how he is. If you want to go for ranking then trade him now.

As much as I like Mumford, I just don't think he can cover the Coxman and Otto's spread, week in, week out.
That's like $940k or so to spend on a ruck duo. I can afford the trades (just), so if you were going from NOW, with $940k for a ruck pair... talk to me.

I have $80,000 in the bank and three trades left. I need to win the next three rounds to secure finals berths therefore I'm thinking of trading Cox to McIntosh and then upgrade cockie to anyone under $432,100 (Pendlebury and Lockyer main players there). However, Cockie is playing at the moment and will proabably continue as Kerr is out and West Coast will be failing to win soon- So instead i could trade Muston who is not playing for Pendlebury and have some spare cash for a final trade.
I think the smartest option would be to trade Muston for Pendlebury who was once not long ago at $630,000 or so. Lockyer has been average lately.

I bet there would have been SOMEONE who started with Otten/Sandi ruck combo then traded Otten to Hille when Otten was injured and Hille to Cox when Hille got injured now have to go Cox to ?.. If that was me I would just give up.

I am going to sit on Cox until finals and see who is still up and going then. Will cop a donut unless Jacobs or Spencer get a run but I should finish top four in all three leagues in any case as I have good draws or big leads on 5th place.
Jacobs may play this week (hoping carlton and not bullants) and if thats the case i may wait and compare my unique players with my opponents and see if its worth the risk playing jacobs
think he will play for bullants so my theory has gone down the S bend

Yes, if Jacobs can get up I'll wait as well. I was always going to wait this week but may be able to get away with another. If Cox does come back fit then those that hung on will have the advantage in finals as he's easily the best scoring ruckman.
I am very wary of forum panic forcing trades after what happened with Ablett and Higgins. The club is only saying 2-3 weeks.

I wouldn't hold my breath on Jacobs getting another game this season. Hampson has overtaken him and Cloke is still lingering around in the 2's. As much as I don't want Cloke to get another game I think the Match Committee has him ahead of Jacobs as well. And then there is Warnock....

5 trades on rucks alone??? I feel for you mate must of had a horror injury spell in the ruck division. I haven't used a trade on my ruck division in 2 seasons was hoping to continue that this year but dam cox.
