Have slowly made progress the past few weeks.

Chad Warner the big disappointment and to think the week I traded that kent in I was tossing up between him and Gulden who was $100k cheaper. Lesson learnt!

Heeney, Jackson and English weren't overly great either!

Do you get out n about much ? At the many Nat parks you guys have there.

I've been looking at where and what I do on my next trip there.

Been eyeing of mount Anne...looks tough .
You can do Mt Anne as a (pretty tough) day walk if you start early from Hobart. Or there's the multiday circuit.

The best two walks I've done in Tassie are:

1) Western Arthurs (very tough five-ish days walk, bugger all facilities, incredible views),

You'd wanna be a little fit before attempting it, but its the ducks nuts.

2) Walls of Jerusalem (tho its a bit of a slog getting up the hill at the start, its easy afterwards - can be done in a single night, but two or three is better).

Yep that sounds like the makings of a solid itinerary mate.

You been to Maria Island? You don't need camping gear, you can base yourself at the old penitentiary, so long as you don't mind "rustic" accommodation.

Its pretty bloody cheap, but a good base for some very nice day trips up to Bishop and Clark, Fossil Cliffs, Painted Cliffs, etc.

Got a passport rockstar? Hiking options almost endless over the deetch. Do try hiking Mordor (the Tongariro Crossing) if you ever head this way.
